In the premier league era what referee/ referees did you think did ok?
I'll pick 2 Jeff Winters and Uriah Rennie.

Barry I think the players behaviour over the years should be more looked at, rolling around the floor like they have Bern shot, the refs make mistakes but the players make even bigger ones.

Hard to pick ones that have done alright isn’t it!

Clattenburg was out for himself and his own image, Howard Webb has a box at Old Trafford, David Cotte should be banned after the Mersey derby Virgil got injured in.

I would probably say Marriner of the current crop. Doesn’t seem to rush too much with his decisions.

Mark Clattenburg for me is the only good referee i've ever seen in the Premier League. Unbelievably Mike Dean is probably the 2nd best i've seen.

Says more about the state of the rest than their ability though. I was just starting to think Michael Oliver was good but the last 18 months (particularly when he's been on VAR) he has shown himself up as just another ref who doesn't understand the game.

I don’t like that we we even know the names of referees in the first place. The fact that we know their names at all is testament to the fact that something is horribly wrong.

I reckon Poll is a good shout. yes he made mistakes (as an Aussie its hard to forget the world cup match between Aus and Croatia where simunic got 3 yellow cards) but he reffed at some pretty high levels (eg WC)
