Good morning Eds and reds, Hope everyone is well and looking forward to a good game today. I hear a lot of chat on here recently about Everton rolling over next week and allowing Arsenal to beat them just to get one over on us. I'd just like to say, I think that's very disrespectful to a club the size of Everton. People will point to the fact that it's happened before but has it? Were they having an off day? Realistically, if you've seen some of our weaker performances this season, it could be portrayed that we were rolling over and letting the other team have points because we have been awful at points. And also, if this is how professional teams work now, surely it's happy days for us today because that would mean, with West Ham hating arsenal and being city rivals, that means they're just going to let us win today to get one over on Arsenal surely? Doesn't sound to realistic does it? At the end of the day, we've played 36 games this season, we only have two games left and we have left it in our hands to qualify for the champions league so let's not build up controversy about who will let who win and concentrate on supporting the team and cheering them on over the finish line. Good luck today boys and let's show everyone how much we want this.

I think that's a great post. As you say, are West Ham going to roll over for us, I really don't think so.

While I don't expect WestHam to roll over, it wouldn't surprise me if Everton does.
The rivalry between Everton and Liverpool isn't the same as WestHam and Arsenal. It's something like Roma and Lazio.
And when Roma were chasing Inter years ago for the league title, I can remember Lazio rolling over. and Lazio fans were even cheering when Inter scored against them.
Liverpool should just focus on winning the two games.
