Obviously ye can tell by my name that Sakho is my favourite player closely followed by Emre. I know Klopp wants him gone due to his behaviour, just really is a sad ending for such a talented defender. He single handily has saved Palace from relegation. I know no player is bigger than the club and I respect klopps decision even though I don't agree with it, but if/ when he leaves permanently we need to sign a top quality centre back. Wish Mamadou the best going forward a true great defender although a lot of people don't rate him because he looks awkward on the ball.

Got to keep him.

Sakho lacks pace like Lovren and isn't actually great playing a high line. Liverpool plays very high up the pitch hence the chances of someone running behind our CB's are very high. Sakho won't solve this issue mate. People are not looking at the braided picture.
We thought the same and brought Lovren. Look what happened. The team conceded an awful lot of goals in Sakho's presence as well.
But I agree he is million mile better than Lovren and Klavan combined. He also has a stellar passing attribute. Ideal for 3 at the back and him playing the sweeper role.

Don't really recall Sakho being beaten by pace, Matip isn't really that quick either. With fast full backs they can often cover for the centre backs. Sakho reads the game brilliantly so he doesn't have to rely on his speed to cover, always in the right spot.

Sakho lacks pace? Judged by a wingers criteria, perhaps, but at CB he has good pace.

Sahko is faster than all our centre backs.

Sahko does not lack pace neither is Lovren a slug. Sahko has pace to burn and would be starting next to Matip now had he not been a right bell.

SaKho best quality is his distribution after winning the ball,
I don't think there is anyway back to us for him but somebody show me where we get a replacement of the same quality
I think Klopp could say that everyone starts off next season with a clean slate.
It shows that he is the boss but SaKho is playing for his future.
We as a club have nothing to lose in trying this as if the lad messes up again then off he goes. but we have everything to gain if he knuckles down and takes his chance.
Hopefully we will have Champs league next year and he has big game experience in the centre half position which is our biggest problem area.

Sakho was beaten all ends up by Dortmund. They literally tore a new one. It's easy to nutmeg Sakho on one on one as well. Once he loose the marker he has no chance of recovery. That being said he is a terrific passer of the ball. An ideal sweeper CB.

Sakho lacks pace is like saying crouch lacks height.
His pace and strength are his best assets. i believe that he would form a formidable partnership with matip next season. it would also mean we could allocate the centre back money elsewhere.

Ha Sakho was beaten all ends up by Dortmund, that game still stands as one of the best Liverpool game in the last few years, tell me, who scored at Anfield, which team went thru, Sakho and Lovren were brilliant together in those games, and Dortmund went home not knowing what just happened, Liverpool were on fire second half .

N Red, but he was a right bell, and that's it. I was glad when we signed him and gutted he's leaving and yes he's showing some quality now but as others have said already our defence was just as bad with him previously in it than this year without him. Matip is our only defender I have any real faith in and we'v still already seen him make some simple mistakes.
More than anything, above a keeper or lb, mane replacement or striker we need a positionally Savy, aerially dominant defender who is a leader and organiser, something we've missed since Carra and Sami.
A vidic or terry type defender should be a priority. Klavan, bless him isn't good enough, Lovren is inconsistent at best, Matip seems to be injured a lot and Gomez hasn't played in Christ knows how long, so maybe even 2 new CB? Either way I trust Klopp to sort it.
