I've seen you mention interest in Ricardo Pereira. Would this likely be primarily to fill in at left back? Or is the plan to compete with Clyne? I like the player a lot, but wonder if it's the former, is it not concerning to be looking at another right footed player starting at left back for us?
{Ed001's Note - we need both a right back and left back, to give Milner and Clyne a rest, apparently. Players these days are such precious little things they get tired if they have to play more than once a week, bless them. I mean it is not like they get taken away on all expenses paid holidays midseason or anything for winter sun is it? Oh wait....
Pereira is to cover both sides, so that Clyne and Milner can get a rest when needed or just be dropped when underpeforming.}

Wouldn't TAA be giving Clyne a rest?
{Ed001's Note - that is if TAA stays at right back, that is not expected to be his position long term though by many.}

{Ed001's Note - depends on how he develops, but more likely in a midfield role apparently. It could be he ends up staying at right back, but that is not the expectation.}

A player I thought could change position is ojo I'd love to see him given a shot in some games where wijnaldum or lalanna plays with a bit of freedom to just try influence play.
How's he done since the back problems actually haven't heard anything the last while, is he still pretty much this season off and work from there?

Didn't Stevie G play RB for quite a few of his first games. Just saying 😊
But I thought he was a midfielder for the reserves or under 21s etc and that he just played RB as that's where the need was.
I like TAA though has something about him.

Ricardo Pereira is having a good season and I suspect Benfica would want a good money on the player. There is a good chance we might miss out on him. We need more than one full back for the next season.

Harry, Perreira play for Porto but currently on loan at Nice.
