Lets keep calm! we need to face facts at the moment we have not got a deep enough squad with quality. Maybe CL is beyond us this season i sincerely hope not. In Klopp we must definitely trust.

Nail on head. First choice players may be top 4 level, emphasise may. But the squad quite possibly doesn't have the depth for it. Maybe it isn't possible to get that. But reality is fighting for a top 4-6 rather than challenging for top 2 is possibly as good as the current squad can produce.

They have the know how and have hardly lost a game and unlike us are not conceding many goals, look what they done to Chelsea.

Wordt cse at the moment is united winning the devry becaude of they both then win there next game over us they both go above us.
We nees a draw or a city win and where still in the driving seat
But today was potentially our one allowed loss. We have to win the remaining 4 games.

Yet these same fans thought we could have won the PL this season with such a tread bare squad. How does that even make sense? We didn't play well this afternoon and that much is clear. We went back to our old ways of going through the motions and not showing any desire, drive or up tempo in our game. Also, the defendong on both goals were well, something we've come to expect unfortunately at LFC since Carra retired. Sloppy, passive and poor. Had we won today, we would have not sealed CL footie and a loss does not mean we've lost it either. We just have to go back and work harder, play better and hopefully win all our rem. games. This will go down to the last game of the season, IMO. We just have to make sure we are in control of our destiny by that time.

NRed no I didn't think or say could win the league with this squad and neither did most of the people who have made constructive criticism on here. The squad isn't good enough and realistically as one Ed said doesn't have funds to completely rebuild or throw money at the problem. If LFC finish 6th then chances are that is the squad's level now and if you look at some of the players in the match day squads that is possibly higher than their level. I do agree with the rest of what you said. This one game doesn't determine everything but it does show much of the real level.

If we have to win all four games then we are in big trouble, don't you know who will win the Manchester derby and finish above us, we are all very frustrated after a very poor defeat, we really need to shift out some players in the summer, and have a much stronger squad to cover injuries and such, and Klopp needs to kop on, who does he bring on V Palace, only the one player who was a disaster last season, would he have rescued us in any way, a winger with pace was the only answer .

If Leicester had the squad to win the league last season then we could have won the league this season.
With 15 mins to go against Bournemouth we were going level with Spurs having played 1 extra game.
Would you still have said we couldn't win the league?

Ron Leicester had the ability to grind out 1-0 wins when the going got tough. We know the LFC squad are too fragile defensively to do that. The fact they did it and our players can't should say what we need to know. People may not like it but this squad is a 4-7 in the league squad not a top 2/ 3 one. From what has been said the coaching set up may not be either.
