We have stuttered of late and seem to be limping towards 4th place.

What do you sll think the major problems are and how would you tackle them?

Confidence? Injuries? Team selection? Attitude? Tactics? Something else?

Confidence. At this stage of the season we usually have nothing to play for in the league. We lack players who have "been there and done that" So they will need to rely on Klopp heavily who has off course had some success in Germany. Im just hoping they don't bottle it.

I don't see many players lacking confidence. Maybe Origi. I think it's down to a lack of strength in depth. We've been unfortunate with injuries of late and we haven't got enough good players to replace them or to switch things up when it's not working.

Klopp's reluctance to change things on the pitch has come into criticism, but I honestly think he looks at things and thinks, "I have my best players on the pitch". We need more quality throughout the squad.

What injuries? We only have henderson and mane missing, any team should be able to beat bottom half sides with a couple of injuries

The way things are going we will not stutter to the 4th but lose out to arsenal as i doubt we will win both our remaniing matches they way we are playing now

Westham have three straight clean sheets at home. its a disastrous end to the season where we were once challenging to the title in dec

Absolutely ashamed that these guys will lose out on top four.

Motivated teams don't play like we did against soton. I love klopp but really don't know what's going on right now.

TQ, we have 2 players out at the minute (Henderson and Mane), good players for us but if can't cope with 2 injuries then we may give up now.

I think we are suffering from being terminally predictable as without players like Mane and Henderson, and Lallana and Sturridge dropping in and out of the side, there is no-one around to give us any versatility in tactics. We effectively have 14 first team players (including 2 goalkeepers) available for every game and it's not enough.

12 May 2017 11:28:49
These two games will be a great test to show what we are made of as they are huge pressure games.

We have the talent to win both games but do we have the composure and belief, we will find out! 😁.

Rover, I said the problem was a lack of strength in depth. We may have only had a few injuries, but when you lack depth, any injury to a first team player is massive. We've been especially unfortunate because Mané, Henderson and Lallana are key to the way we play.

There are also times when Klopp probably needs to make changes when things aren't clicking but he lacks options from the bench. The Crystal Palace game comes to mind.

Its all of the above, injuries lead to a disjointed team and a loss of confidence, which then exposes weaknesses in the team and that the players do mot have the quality or character to get on with it during periods of poor form and injuries.

12 May 2017 12:48:40
Complacency is our biggest enemy. But we always respond to silly lackluster performances with a good solid professional outing, so I am quite confident we will be fine against west ham.

It's a mixture Of everything. Over reliance on a core group of players, injuries, stale tactics, loss of form and A lack of confidence.

12 May 2017 13:57:03
My belief is that the main issue here is belief under the pressure the players are feeling now. Slowness to adapt to changing game circumstances both by JK and by the players isn't helping either, but the pressure is inducing nervousness and stifling things.
I suspect most of the team are kicking themselves that cl qualification isn't already done and dusted.
Missing Sadio and Jordan can't help; but I want to tell the players I still believe.

I think there are numerous reasons. Lack of squad depth in terms of quality. Once you get away from the first team regulars the quality is pretty thin. Lack of flair and players with true inginuity, once Mane and his pace is removed all our attackers look ordinary, all need space to work. Klopp's unwillingness to adapt to the players he has, expecting them to play the same game instead of finding a formula that works with the players he has at his disposal. Klopp's indecision on substitutions I think is another. These then follow with a lack of confidence because of poor results and performances due to these mistakes.

No leaders on the pitch doesn't help.

We'll be alright. We've been in worse situations and come out smelling of roses.
