Has anybody seen Luan enough to form an educated assessment on him?
I've just not seen anything of his any just want to know how highly rated he is. Heard he is a false 9 sort of forward but I don't know if that's people who have only seen him on Football Manager or Fifa. So a real life assessment would be appreciated if anyone could help me out.

Type Tim Vickery and Luan into a search engine and start reading.
He has written quite a lot about him and all of it good from what I can see.

Thanks RedDawn, will have a look at that.
Its just that I see a lot of people excited at the prospect of signing Luan, but didn't really know the reason why, whether its because he's genuine quality or just because its a new big money signing.

From what I read, he seems like a really mobile type of player, and even can play on the wing too. Maybe that's why from the stats, as a forward, he didn't score as much. Lots of movement open up spaces for others, maybe.

From the Olympics, which was the last time I saw him, he was lightening quick and fairly tough. Wasn't making brilliant decisions which I'd hope he's worked on in the year since. Played on the wing at the time, don't have a clue if he did that for his club but he supported Neymar well. Didn't look out of place in the young, flair filled Brazil side either. Money aside, looked then like he could be a very good player in the making.

Isnt it obvious? He is Brazilian and will cost 20 odd mill, that's why everybody is getting wet over it. Never heard of him two weeks ago myself. I trust Klopp.
