Cant believe the VVD knockers. As a liverpool fan on the south coast and having seen him play on approx. 10 games he has pace power and great in the air. I have been praying for us to sign him. Believe me he is the real deal.

Its not people knocking him its more to the point the figure being branded about. On top of that, our interest isn't there and we have the 4 centre backs already at the club, 2 of which Klopp purchased.

I would have hoped that he'd be quite fit being a professional footballer.
If he is undisciplined enough to have go flabby moobs (or "VVD Knockers") then I do not think he is the signing for us.

To be fair Zed, Firmino looked like Mr Blobby's fatter brother 12 months ago then lost it over pre-season. Can't be healthy but he did it and never stops running.

I don't see the problem with having 5 centre backs considering we never had a stable back line because of consistent injuries, and we will be competing in Europe next season. Even though I'd prefer 4, but those 4 have to be players that will play when the opportunity arises. the opportunity to play Gomez was there quite a few times this season but we never got to see him, same with ojo and a few others. Klavan is basically as good as a 4th choice centre back at this level and would be my choice to leave ahead of Gomez but Klopp apparently doesn't see it that way. Lovren would be my 3rd choice, this season he was hot and cold as per usual and got injured on numerous occasions meaning we had no chance of a stable Cb pairing. Matip had a slightly better season than lovren and would be my 2nd choice but was unreliable at times as well. We need to bring in someone better than what we have already. I would love that to be sahko but that won't happen and we should make decent money from his transfer. Whether that player is vvd or not I'm not so sure. Seems a good player but at that price, no chance.

So you are calling us VVD Knockers (whatever the heck that means) cos we are not enamored with an overrated defender tho with great ability and promise, but has severe concentration issues, lack of awareness and tactically ineptitude to be signed for stupid transfer money? Do you think a player with all these flaws is worth 50m/ 60m? If you think so then that is your opinion and nothing more. I suggest you go have a word with yourself and come back with better arguments on why we should sign such a player instead of mouthing off the old tired "he's the real deal" rhetoric.
