Hello Ed's, Let's discuss Origi. He has adapted I would say to Klopp's idea of what a striker should be. But as we can see from Firmino's tally of goals, that rarely translates to a 20 goals a season. From all indications we are not buying a striker, what do you think needs be done to get Origi and maybe Firmino to that height? Or are you of the opinion we don't need a 20 goal striker to win the league?

{Ed001's Note - Lewandowski scored plenty of goals under Klopp, not sure how you can say Klopp's idea of a striker restricts the player.}

The reason Firmino didn't score 20 last season was a) he had a broken season with several spells on the sidelines and b) he doesn't take any set plays (especially not pens) unlike the leagues other top strikers. He also had more support to provide easier goals for than trying to take on ridiculous shots himself most of the time.

We create more than enough chances for whoever is playing in that most advanced position to have scored more than they did. Even sturridge jad some great 1v1 chances earlier in the season where he uncharacteristically fluffed his lines.

Firmino is capable of scoring goals for fun as he did that with Hoffenhiem before he came to us. Any striker will score goals in our system BUT bar Suarez or Gab Jesus, no striker is asked to do ALL the dirty work Firmino does which Klopp requires of his CF to do so thos saying we need a natural goalscorer should remember that majority of them can't and won't do all the things Bobby does, which is important in our system. I do agree that Firmino can improve his goal tally by being more composed and focus more on his firt touch in front of goal as he clearly, has the ability to do better in these areas.
