Hi Ed 2

Just a quick one. Do you agree that Juergen Klopp is doing a good job at Liverpool? Qualifying for the champions league isn't easy, and when you compare the money spent by all the teams around us etc.

Thanks

Jack.

{Ed002's Note - No. Last season, like the season before was a failure. He promised he could win the league with the players at the club and perhaps minimal change. He has gotten the club in a great deral of trouble and has lied to the players. The fans are taken in by the clown act and the younger players by the hugging. The owners and board are dragging their tales through the slime apologising because of what he has done. You tell me.}

Agree8 Disagree3

Whereas I agree that at times Klopp's antics got the better of him, considering the squad was the weakest of the top 5, 4th position in PL isn't total failure. This season he'll have to do much better and I still think FSG have confidence Klopp can deliver the Holy Grail (premiership) . That's also the reason why I think LFC will spend heavily on Keita.

{Ed002's Note - Right, they are in transition and Klopp lied to the owners. It gets better all of the time. Perhaps they should have listened to Ancelotti?}

26 Jun 2017 21:59:57
Ed002's hatred of all things Liverpool laid out for all to see. Bloody pathetic - get a life you clown.

{Ed002's Note - You wish to point out something I have said that is not true? You are going through life as a damp patch. I appreciate it is just something you have to be. It is not uncommon for people to turn abusive when they don't understand the truth - but rather sad.}

26 Jun 2017 22:02:59
I for one believe Klopp brought back belief. Let's be honest, the football on display last season, we totally thrashed anything that was put in front of us except for when opposition teams played with eleven in the box. The football on display was marvelous.

The whole VVD saga has put a dampner on things for me. This is Liverpool, you have to treat the club with respect. Klopp buried us in ridicule.

I am hoping Klopp was given a proper talking to. FSG seriously need to put their foot down. The only manager who has not dragged them through carp under their reign was old Hodgson but he was not even appointed by FSG. He did not cause the problems Kenny, Rodgers and Klopp have.

FSG have the financial brain, they have taken the club far beyond what Moores and the cowboys could have ever achieved but maybe running an institution as big as Liverpool has become too much for them. They are not learning from their mistakes.

26 Jun 2017 22:08:01
I love the clown act though 🤡.

26 Jun 2017 22:12:50
Ed 2 should stick to man u page he s hatred for Liverpool gets in the way of an honest answer.

{Ed002's Note - Would you like to share what part is not honest? You are are an embarrassment and will scamper off now. The manager is a disgrace and embarrassment to the club. The warnings last year and the grovelling apology for the board to need to yet again make public is a truly awful place to be. Illegally approaching players of other clubs to tap them up is something many Liverpool fans are advocating rather than accepting it is wrong. Nobody cares about the club screwing up the career of a child but would rather say "everyone else does it". And then little bits of trash like you come aloing with your ridiculous little comments - further embarrassing all Liverpool fans - is cringeworthy. So again, what part of the answer is not honest?}

26 Jun 2017 22:06:21
Again I agree with a lot of what you're saying ED 2 but could Liverpool realistically challenge the likes of Chelsea with players like Hazard, Cante', Fabregas etc. Klopp may have lied to FSG but it must have been obvious to FSG that a squad like Liverpool's cannot compete over the course of an entire season.

{Ed002's Note - FSG are not experts in football. They have thrown enormous amounts of money at the club and have been taken in by a manager who has one nothing for years.}

26 Jun 2017 22:16:52
Ed02, You're right that Klopp has got things wrong both on and off the pitch, but you clearly seem to have a particular, almost passionate dislike of the man. I'm sure we're all curious as to the reason behind it?

{Ed002's Note - Where is that - where did I say something which is not true? You are not really grasping the point of honest answers. Klopp has one nothing for years and has taken people in. He has ABUSED his position to such an extent that the club has had to take on the chin two warnings last season, and now the potential investigation that could see a transfer ban or perhaps a points reduction this season. If he did indeed brief a number of journalists to publish targets then the situation will become very serious indeed. None of you get it. None of you understand the consequences of the ban the club has nor of the court case which is pending. The club and Klopp are completely out of control. But you all love it.}

26 Jun 2017 22:29:20
Ed 02 - this the Lpool page! Etc etc ✌👍.

26 Jun 2017 22:30:10
So ................

{Ed002's Note - You are what the rest of the world scrapes off the bottom of their shoes.}

26 Jun 2017 22:34:00
Whoa, what's with the hatred to ed02? People wonder why he's get annoyed and disappears every now and then. If you ask him a question you should know by now to get his honest opinion! I personally like Klopp for what he has done league position wise, but let's not have rose tinted glasses about it. There's potential in him and the squad, but he has to change to stop with the behind the scenes antics ed02 is mentioning. We all appreciate eds input when it's something positive so you have to take the rough with the smooth!

{Ed002's Note - Post of the day. They don't like hearing the truth W666. They would do best not to ask or to keep the questions to the playful subjects like Crystal Tipps and Alistair (who predate me being in England but I have since discovered (perhaps about 5 years ago) are an absolute blast).}

26 Jun 2017 22:35:54
I'm fairly certain the huge majority of the fans do not love it! No true Liverpool fan wants to see the club's reputation tarnished. I'm not suggesting anything you have said is untrue. It just seemed to me, as I'm sure it does to most on here, that you appear to revel in every opportunity to bash Klopp and have been doing so since he arrived. If it's simply down to the fact that you want things done properly then fair enough. It just seems there's more to it?

{Ed002's Note - No, I get asked a question and I give an honest answer. This is like Gaston Ramerez all over again.}

26 Jun 2017 22:44:50
that was a decent read 😂. If you're opening a question out to ed's who we all know aren't all LFC fans then u can't get shirty at the response, and in all honesty, why should u care what fans of other clubs think? that's not a aimed as a pop at either of the Eds responding to the post by the way, but my personal opinion is what matters to me is what fans of the club think of the Manager, not fans of other teams!

{Ed002's Note - I am hadly a football "fan".}

26 Jun 2017 22:46:58
Ed02 thanks for taking the time to answer. The huge majority of us on here really appreciate the time and effort you take in sharing your knowledge and opinions with us.

{Ed002's Note - I understand that and thanks CR.}

26 Jun 2017 22:51:35
fair shout, point in making mate is why do people ask if they can't handle the opinion of a non LFC fan (which is obviously going to be unbiased) totally agree with the above post by westwood666, i just couldn't word mine as well! There's a lot of issues with our club that absolutely need to stop before Klopp ruins what I think he could be capable of.

26 Jun 2017 23:09:35
Yowza Ed002. To paraphrase some of the locals "calm down calm down"

26 Jun 2017 22:59:58
Look people, there is nothing right about a manager of Liverpool bringing the club into disrepute. As a matter of fact, not any employee of Liverpool.

If Ed002 is suggesting that there could be a transfer ban on the way for Liverpool or points reduction, then this is not something we should be advocating?

The Ed's are here to provide worthy info. If this is the way our fans are rambling on then it just shows the current state of affairs at this club. Questions get asked of the Ed's and they get abused when they give honest answers?

26 Jun 2017 23:00:44
Failure my arse. were back.

26 Jun 2017 23:15:47
Personally think Klopp done a good job last season.
May have promised more you can't guarantee that in football.
Think he's brought the feel good factor back to the club and the fans are 100% behind him.
Can't comment to much on anything he's said reguarding transfer as know nothing of it but if true what edd002 is saying then it needs to stop.
Would be interesting to know if this is common place or not in football, I'd probably say yes, but still doesn't make it right.

{Ed002's Note - It is not common place to have done what Liverpool has done - it is far more common to see agents overstep the mark.}

26 Jun 2017 23:16:15
"It is not uncommon for people to turn abusive when they don't understand the truth" --- This is actually very true in life. All I do is talk about frequencies and you can use them for different means. it's what we're all made of. folks just don't get it. I shall use your line, ed002, thanks.

{Ed002's Note - You might want to consider the words of Langston Hughes:
I play it cool
I dig all jive
That's the reason
I stay alive
My motto
As I live and learn
Is dig and be dug in return.}

27 Jun 2017 00:17:27
It seems Ed in your replies that you are suggesting that everything that is wrong with Liverpool's transfer dealings is down to Klopp? Surely that is an untruth, no? You also said Klopp PROMISED to win the league. Again another untruth. How can anyone possibly promise to win anything?! He might have said he could do it but I'd hardly call that a lie. I say it about us every year as do most fans of any club and I'd wager a great number of managers too. You mentioned ruining a child's career in a thread about Klopp. Are you suggesting that was his fault too? Please clarify as by reading your answers I'm genuinely concerned that we are being managed by Satan himself in silly glasses.

26 Jun 2017 23:29:38
Nice one, Ed002, I've saved those words. I like them. stoic in nature.

26 Jun 2017 23:29:52
You're right with your "truths" 002, but there's absolutely 0 chance, and I mean 0, that klopp told the owners he would win the league with the players he was coming in to.
Reason one, klopp did not need to sell himself to the club, the club wanted him.
Reason two, he's a bright guy, even he knew with the crap Rodgers left behind, that he had no chance of winning the league with the players already here.
With all due respect, I feel you've said it so many times you're actually starting to believe your statement is real, when that particular line is just nonsense.

{Ed002's Note - He did exactly that Benny.}

27 Jun 2017 00:17:27

{Ed002's Note - No I have not done that. I don't blame Klopp for the ruining of the career of a child, plunging his parents in to debt nor the lies told to the authorities in that case. What I said was perfectly clear and does not need clarification - you seem to be keen on making matters worse by misleading people about what has been said.}

27 Jun 2017 03:18:03
I'm genuinely curious what Klopp did to you Ed002.

{Ed002's Note - Do you want to share with us what I have said that is untrue? People keep asking the same question but don't want an honest answer.}

27 Jun 2017 06:38:36
I respect your contributions Ed002 but I completely disagree with your take on Klopp's performance last season. We are playing much better football and definately improving in an increasingly competitive league. I don't understand how you can say he lied about winning the league? Of course managers make promises and a lot of the time, fall short of their goals. How is this any different?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool failed to achieve anything again. The owners have two clear targets and they are close to neither. I know, in transition.}

27 Jun 2017 08:25:53
Were finally making moves in the right direction. We qualified for the Champions League. I think that's a good enough achievement for his first full season in charge. You might not like him but he is doing a good job so far.
That said, I think the owners need to appropriate action about his unwise conduct in other matters.

{Ed002's Note - Nearly two seasons and you clearly have low expectations which the owners. Conte won the league. The owners expect that sort of response - this constant cycle of transition goes nowhere.}

27 Jun 2017 09:29:03
Ed with all due respect Conte took over a side that had won the league the season before and had imploded under the ticking time bomb that is Mourinho. All he had to do was get them all back together to stand a chance. He also added quality which Chelsea can aesily afford. Klopp took over a stagnated team still reeling from the loss of Suarez and Gerrard. To compare the two is just ludicrous.

{Ed002's Note - They were mid table the season before. Klopp had double the time and did nothing. Klopp has done nothing for years. But he is the likeable clown still.}

27 Jun 2017 09:54:03
Ed02 there is a difference between taking over a team that has already won the league in the past few years and has the squad to do it, than a squad that has been mismanaged and no direction or top class players and hasn't won a thing in years.

In regards to your comment about Klopp saying he would win the league, the league the only thing i remember him saying is "If i am sat here in 4-5 years i would like to think i would have won 1 league title". He is only in his first FULL season, we are top 4 which we haven't had for years not to mention for a couple months we were playing the best football in Europe in terms of Wins/ Goals/ Chances? I understand he has got a lot wrong behind the scenes, but to say last season has been a failure for a club like LFC that's been stuck outside the top 4 for years is just wrong.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool was a side that had recenmtly come second. Klopp promised the owners what I said - that is why he got the job over others.}

27 Jun 2017 12:14:48
Wow. I didn't half open a can of worms there. I didn't realise it was so complex. I see it like this : we haven't been in the champions league for years, now we are = progress. Obviously ed 2 you appear to have a real disliking of Klopp! Anyway, it doesn't really matter what opinions people have really, the proof will be in the pudding. I imagine this coming season will be the acid test for Liverpool. If we fall away and don't have a good run in the Champions league after spending big, which it looks like we will, then we can judge. I've got a feeling that he will get it right, but time will tell. All the best to you and good luck for the new season fellow reds.

Jack.

{Ed002's Note - I don't have a dislike of Klopp - everything I have said is true.}

27 Jun 2017 12:18:09
Oh and Conte won the league Ed 2 after years and years of Chelsea spending top dollar for players, inheriting a team that won the league just two years ago so I don't quite understand your comparison. Liverpool were a million miles away again when Suarez left. If Klopp had Suarez next season I'd put my house on us being at least top 2.

{Ed002's Note - You all like comparisons. How many more years in transition do Liverpool need to deliver on the vast investment - given the "world class" coach?}

27 Jun 2017 14:39:25
Was my post left out for a reason. Was there anything wrong with it or just forgotten in the rush.

{Ed002's Note - No idea.}

27 Jun 2017 22:28:04
This is the funniest post I've read in ages!
Ed002 getting well pissed off!
To be fair though Ed, there have been times when you've said things that were untrue, like on your sharkopod about Liverpool transfer targets!
You said kolasinac to Milan was nailed on!
No mention of Salah or VVD as possible Liverpool targets and though you did mention Solanke, you only mentioned him as fans were talking about him and you backed some other young centre forward, I can't remember who though, as being Liverpool's main target for that position!
You did, however, rubbish the aubamayamadingdong rumours immediately!
Keep up the good work Ed, love the tunes on sharkopods!

{Ed002's Note - Where did I say the words "nailed on"? Salah was not first choice - the first choice rejected Liverpool. van Dijk was illegally approached by Liverpool and by Klopp. I don't recall ever having used the words "main target". Clearly you have no interest in knowing about the players are interested in and have been watching.}
