Regarding Keita, RBL will put themselves in a very embarrassing and awkward position now if they do decide to accept an offer. They've made very clear to the world that they will not sell and also stated why they will not sell.
Their fans will love hearing that, until they sell. Then there will be serious backlash.

One last offer from Liverpool I think. 70 million take it or leave it.

Agree2 Disagree2

They will leave it in my opinion.
Why would they accept? He's got a long contract, they don't need the money, transfer fees are only going one way.
They'd be mad to sell.

19 Jul 2017 11:50:52
Unless he wants to leave, Ron, and says it to them.

19 Jul 2017 11:51:15
They won't accept any offer now imo. Their public stance means they are not going to sell at any price and the last thing they want is to p*** their fans off by selling later on after making such grand statements. This deal is a no go and its time to move on and pursue some decent defenders. We do have Ejaria and Grujic who can have a real impact next season if given opportunities so their might be something good that comes out of missing out on keita.
Not to mention Keita himself may want to join us next season if we challenge for the league this season.

{Ed001's Note - what fans? They have no fans, everyone in Germany hates them. They are the only team ever to be more hated by Germans than Bayern Munich are to everyone other than Bayern fans. RBL have no worries about upsetting the 'fans' as it mostly consists of family and friends of the staff and players!}

All down to Keita I think now. would have to force his way out which could get ugly.

19 Jul 2017 11:58:05
I am hearing his agent is in Hongkong to continue negotiations!

19 Jul 2017 12:06:30
His agent won't be negotiating a transfer.

19 Jul 2017 12:07:52
Ridiculous now.

Your not impressing anyone with this stance.

You will look better if you sell at a stupidly high price, because every other club will not think yo7 are push overs. Like levy at spurs. You want one of his players then you have to pay.

54 million for walker.

Take the 70 million. Put it that you dragged every last ounce of value out of keita and you will only ever sell a player on your terms.

But I agree with everyone these comments there making, I just can't see then going back on them.

I've just posted the lasted quoted one.

It's like there up a mountain and I just don't see them coming down. Fair play. You keep him for another year and then lose him with his release clause to bayern or something. and now make every player maybe think twice about joining you because they know they will probably never get to leave. I wouldn't join them if I was 18. No way.

19 Jul 2017 12:09:25
Harry, the deal that needs to be done is with RBL, not Naby's agents. Its obvious that both the player and his agents want the move to go through, and RBL are the ones playing hardball. The Hong Kong story is a no go.

19 Jul 2017 11:59:10
Really Ed001? I knew they were not very liked but assumed they might have a small but passionate fan base. Nevertheless, what would u do now if you were in Klopp's shoes? Would u tell them to make one last offer or would you just decide enough is enough and move on to other targets?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea because I do not have access to the information he has at his disposal.}

19 Jul 2017 12:21:32
There hated because of how there created.

It's mainly down to the success they have I think.

The money that's there, other clubs don't use it like they can.

They have billions in the bank and don't have to follow the "german way".

It's pretty much how we all reacted to hating Chelsea. The money that they got and then city. That's all it is really.

19 Jul 2017 12:27:02
RBL do not need the money, they want to keep him.
Why would they sell? Why would they care if he leaves next season for £20m less?

They don't need the money.
If Naby didn't want to stay at RBL then don't sign a contract extension for 3 years.

Time for LFC to move on.

19 Jul 2017 12:30:25
we should make a final bid then if its not accepted, then move on, Lucas has gone, now Stewart, that's two deep midfielders, so there is a space for one incoming player, but who?

19 Jul 2017 12:32:37
Said from the off the deal wouldn't happen and i got dragged through the mud for saying it. They was adamant from day 1 they wouldn't sell yet somehow many fans on here kept believing it would? I hate to say I told you so but. I told you so. It's no disappointment to me, I'd of been disappointed if I thought such a transfer would go through but it hasn't, was never going to and won't.

19 Jul 2017 12:38:28
A Teabag dragged through the mud?

Sounds like the brew I had this morning 😡.

{Ed025's Note - stay out of Mcdonalds ron.. :)

19 Jul 2017 12:56:02
It was a little chef actually 👨‍🍳.

19 Jul 2017 15:14:13
