Selling Coutinho would be yet another sign that LFC sells its top players to survive financially and it would also represent a monumental contrast with RBL's stance on Keita. This window which will probably end with a positive net spend shows the massive limitations of this once great club as it's run by FSG. As Ed 002 put it LFC is a laughing stock and this window is another missed opportunity.

What are you talking about? As things stand we have broken our transfer record and signed a promising left back for a further 10 million as well as picking up the world cup u20 player of the tournament for a fee still to be decided, we have spent upwards of 50 million and what have we brought in thru sales?
Also who cares if we ended with a positive net spend, if we play are cards right and get rid of a few more players like Stewart for good fees like we have with him then great! There's no pleasing some people, we have been after players with massive price tags and as far as I can see have been offering more than fair amounts but there's nothing u can do if the club's don't want to sell just like there's nothing Barcelona could do if we said we weren't selling coutinho which is what u want us to do yet your not happy with rbl doing the same over Keita? Providing manes knee is good.

The goals we lose from cou, 15. Should hopefully be replicated by salah.
Keita should add most of the assists.
We should be fine. What we potentially lose is the 80min top corner screamers and a scortching free kick.
What we will have done though is spent wisely

Spider, we already did "an Everton" when BR squandered the Suarez money on Balotelli, Lambert and well, you know the rest. Seriously on the Everton tip, we will see what happens with them cos right now, there are no goals in that team and Pickford is an upgrade on Joel and Stekklenberg but again, the bar is non-existent on the GK front.
