It does make me laugh at the reports we will put Keita transfer on hold until next season. If he improves again on his current form we will have no chance of picking him up as we can't compete with the bigger clubs it's delusional for us to think otherwise. This summer is showing what City, Utd and Chelsea have to spend when their managers throw their rattles out of the prom. These guys will probably spend 300+ million each. If Klopp thinks Keita is a real worldie it's buy him now or lose him to the big spenders next season.
I think this is a huge summer for Klopp, he's missed all of his first targets so far but Salah is a very good alternative. He's been very poor in improving the defense and needs some real top quality additions (Klopp doesn't play that way is nonsense, he puts out 4 defenders every game not a gk and 10 attackers, better defenders improve the defense, we do not have great defenders) . I also think and have said all season he needs a defensive coach to drill the team at set pieces as we are awful on them.
We looked great attacking last season until Mane went to Africans, then Couts got injured and we were woeful from a January, that looks like we really lack depth and Salah will help there. However a lot of teams found it quite easy to run straight through our midfield from a January and that's concerning.

Said the same re keita at the start when people were asking why no other clubs were in for him. if we don't get him now there will be a choice of 5 or 6 clubs in for him and as you say unfortunately it would be difficult to convince him to choose us at that point so it really is now or never!

We can offer 100 million, If they won't sell then there's nothing we can do about it. We've shown our intent by offering (if true) 74 million so klopp obviously thinks he's "a real worldie " but I do agree with you, if we fail to get him this summer and he continues to impress then by next season your Madrid's, Bayern Munich's will be lining up for his signature so I too think it's now or never. sadly though it seems we are not in the driving seat here and just need to respect RB's decision on the player, they seem pretty stubborn and adamant the player is staying.

Not worried b scouse I'm confident keita will join, our history however with late change of plans to fill positions has left us with players like balotelli in the past which I do not want frankly.
