This window is going from brilliant and exciting, to pathetic and humiliatiling. Then it got promising and hopefull and now frustrating and could end as the the worst in my time as a supporter.
I don't get how the other top clubs in the PRL wraps up one top signing after the other. Salah was a good signing, but what about all the talk about "now we are in the CL", "talks are going good", "we got money to spend". What are the club doing wrong?
Not only can't they manage to strenghten the squad so we can challenge for the title and do a job in the CL, but now we seem to be selling our best players as well without any backup plan. I know some ask if we don't remember how good we were last year without the injuries. Yes. But what if we get injuries again this year, we still lag the width. I also remember how frustating bad we were against lower ranked teams, because of mediocre quality in midfield and defence. I love every player in our squad, but there are better players out there, and I rather win some trophies than being romantic about our players. IMO every player except Coutinho and Mané can be scraped for something better.
To me Virgil and Keita would be ideal signings and walk straight into the starter. Gutted to realise we might not get them, and maybe even loose some class instead. What's going on behind the scenes?

Calm down mate, the club royaley messed up the vvd opportunity and rbl don't have any to sell Keïta which is their prerogative! There is still 5 weeks of the window to go and there are more than 2 quality players on the planet and I am sure jk has others in mind? And, even if we don't manage to add to the squad we have a decent squad already and with a little bit more luck with injuries who is to say we can't improve on last season? Just keep the faith and be patient mate.

A round up then
1. We spoke to vvd without permission from Southampton. We issued embarrassing apology, withdrew our interest, some still believe this could happen.
2. We signed Salah for 30 plus million (looks really good)
3. We signed a left back looks promising
4. We reportedly tapped up Keita, have bid twice and twice been rejected as rbl do not want to sell. Some believe a third bid coming.
5. We have reportedly turned down an offer for coutinho.
6. Can has not yet signed a new contract, had choices to make, he could leave ( mistake if you ask me)
All this and more has been spoken about too many times to count on here and in the press.
But I understand the panic because Liverpool haven't gone out and panic bought every player going to appease the fans, it's not like we have any decent young players who need a chance, plus we any players we do buy won't mean selling players to make room Liverpool are allowed a bigger squad so it's ok.
Get a grip will ya, we should only be buying players we need and will make an instant impact otherwise we should wait.
Sorry but why are people crying about every rumour.

Can't see Coutinho moving this window unless its over 100 million pounds but if keita is in the works and Can is receiving a decent bid from juventus then it's best for all parties even at a lower fee as we risk losing him on a free. If keita isn't coming, we can't afford to lose Can but you can't mess around with cans contract as he is a very talented player who deserves a bigger contract than he is on and will soon grow frustrated if seen as third or fourth option at liverpool with a team at the topoint of Italy asking for his services. Personally hope everyone stays and VVD and Keita so get in and I will continue to do so until the end of the window!
