Surely 1 or 2 of Sturridge, Origi and Ings must be on the move this window.? 5 strikers plus young Brewster seems a bit much doesn't it.?

Ings and Solanke will not touch it this season i predict.

Brewster isn't ready for the first team so needn't be considered. Ings may well go on loan leaving Firmino, Origi and studied for the first team with Solanke as backup from the u-23s.

Exactly Putney and knowing Sturridge he can not be accounted on as a key player, a luxury player who plays when fully fit and in form.

Id like to see Ings and Origi go on Loan. Ings has had a long lay off he will need games to get back to himself, year back at Burnley maybe. Origi needs to find some consistency and that will only come from playing week in week out, If he spent a year out on loan at a Premier league Club I think he could come back a new player and ready to become first choice. don't need that many strikers especially when we have Mane and Salah who can cover there.

Cy, Origi to go on loan for what? He's already been on loan at Lille and has shown when on form, that he can hack it at LFC. Klopp is experimenting in this preseason with playing 3 strikers in an interchangeable front 3 which is an option to always have as either of them bar maybe Solanke, can play wide. If we have too many strikers then Klopp is the guy to refer your question to.

If Coutinho drops deeper into midfield or, God forbid, leaves for Barca, that leaves us with Mane and Salah as natural first team wide men, and then three proven strikers in Firmino, Sturridge, Origi.

Behind them we have Ings (yet to prove fitness) and Solanke as strikers, and Woodburn as winger/ midfielder in Coutinho's mould.

Don't think we can afford to sell or loan anyone, and if anything my concern is if Coutinho leaves are we left a bit short of experienced wingers, forcing Firmino to play wide again?

Everyone is quick to say this and that youngster is not ready for the first team. Could you please explain tome then when a player is ready?

27 Jul 2017 11:50:07
I will put Firmino, Stirridge then Solanke in that order.

Billy Big Balls. When the manager, who sees him day in day out informs the first team manager that he thinks he is ready to train with the first team. Then it is up to the player to show he is ready.

What a load of tosh. Managers are always getting recommendations regarding youngsters being ready. The problem is that the managers dare not as this is now a results driven game and they're too scared of the sack if the youngsters don't perform and results go against them.
