Everyone going crazy and saying now he's handed a transfer request his behaviour is despicable etc etc yet in the same breath saying use the money for Keita and VVD who, as far as I'm aware, have acted exactly the same, all three players have been deemed not for sale at any price, all three players with either transfer requests or comments they have made have attempted to engineer a move anyway, this is football. It's not a new concept it happens to all clubs, and has done for many many years, we do not have the luxury of knowing exactly what is happening behind closed doors so I for one am not going to get antsy about it and declare the season a write off as none of us truly know what will actually happen over the next few weeks. I'm looking forward to the kick off whistle tomorrow afternoon and shout at the TV until I'm hoarse as I have done every year for the last 33 years, through a multitude of different players and hope I'm smiling come the final whistle. Life goes on, players come and go, LFC is forever. YNWA.

Spot on Welsh. Feel the league will be really open this year and by Christmas this transfer window will be a faint memory. Love it.

good call welsh, if only we had a side good enough to win the league, if couts goes and we don't buy, then we won't make top four . but hey, I will still be shouting for them .

Only problem i have is with the timing. this all could've been done months ago like our first attempts for VVD and Keita.

Totally agree. But lfc got insanely slated for their actions. are Barca.
Kinda respect saints and rbl stance. and a part of me says in a world cup year we should do the same.
And then sell to anyone but Barcelona (I'm aware of the irony) like saints fans think of us. I'm tired of Barcelona unsettling our top players. masch, Suarez and now coutinho.

HAHA i just realized we both said the same thing on different posts.
The more i think about it the more I'm thinking tough rubbish (for couts and barca) unless we pull out some worldy signing and then i won't think of him again.
