How can Pep Segura openly state that only the details need sorting before PC is their player?
So he is publicly stating that PC is for sale. This needs a strong response from FSG. Even if only to calm my nerves. IF he does go FSG will be seen as selling of the family silver once again.
I have seen the posts saying NK is looking at property in the area, but I honestly can't see this being the case.

The situation with Countinho has been explained for more than a year and for some reason folks have struggled to grasp what has been going on. I appreciate Macca says he expects him to stay, but the efforts should be being made to look for a replacement (just in case he were to leave say).

Barca are guilty tapping up. Regardless of what pipco and his agent want, he is under contract to LFC. LFC have stated he's not for sale. End of. The rules that LFC and Klopp keep getting bashed over the head with surely apply to other teams as well, don't they? . I don't get why we are so quick to bash our own (quite deserverdly sometimes) but also equally quick to brush it off when it happens to us?

I hear what you're saying Ed002, but didn't Klopp say last week that his hands are tied because of his bosses (FSG), which would indicate they are certainly having an input with this situation.

In a period where everyone at LFC has said PC is not for sale- and yet they push and push, with their media juggernaut chipping away, what else is it?!
How different is it to the VVD situation?
All yawn inducing stuff this summer I know, BUT if you are so bullish in your "embarrassing" claim, how different is it? I mean to be totally honest, it would be kind of honourable for Barcelona to do a similar apology thing as we did with Southampton; if I was being really picky.

People really need to get a grasp of the diffrences btween the two. LFC had no permission whatsoever to approach VVD.

red dom red dom, have Barcelona met with Phil at the Blackpool Travel Lodge? No. Have they spoken directly to him? No. They have done their drip feed tactics to turn the players head which is true, but that falls very very far short of what is defined as tapping up (compare and contrast what has happened with van Dijk and Coutinho and there is a substantive difference) and whatsmore, this has been going on for more than a year.

Are Barcelona not doing the exact thing Klopp got slated for by briefing the media? Fine Coutinho has been courting Barcelona as ED02 has said, but with all the 'news' Spanish media is clearly getting from someone around Barcelona, they are causing a massive rift between fans an the club? Why is this not considered wrong, we are being told by the club one thing, and spanish media are claiming a completely different thing which they have been clearly told by someone in or around Barca.

OK Ed002 - my prior post re Pep Segura did mention his statement but did not interpret that as any form of "tapping up" nonsense.
