I don't understand why Klopp plays a right-footed player, Mane, on the left and a left-footed one, Salah, on the right. Has he been Brendaned? Salah missed good chances in Germany game because of his weak right foot.

{Ed002's Note - The right is the preferred position for both.}

Because both can come on the inside and have a shot at goal.

Hi Ed2. Why would Salah prefer to play on the right when his right foot isn't great?

{Ed002's Note - He is primarily a right winger who cuts inside.}

Gotta say the 2 of them need a lot more fluidity with swapping sides, haven't seen them swap once yet o. O
But it is as everyone said, to cut inside onto their stronger foot while the wingbacks stay wide to provide crosses.

It has nothing to do with being Brendaned. Majority of teams play with inverted wingers with attacking fullbacks to provide the width.

The days of wingers hugging the touchline is something that is being seen less and less.

He certainly hasn't been Brendaned, he's one of the most effective forwards in the league in that position.

Nonsense. Mane played LW for RBS and at Southampton, and Salah has always preferred to play RW. Besides, they are professional footballer who are both wide players, and shouldn't have any problems playing either wing.

This is not an exclusive event at Liverpool, and it is mind-boggling that people are using even this to have a go at Klopp. How about Robben-Ribery, Ronaldo-Bale, Neymar-Messi, Neymar-Di Maria etc.
