Eds001 i really wish klopp would give sakho a chance sadly he won't you too would like to see him?

{Ed001's Note - no, he is a moron who should go. If he is not going to behave like an adult and treat the club with respect then he is not welcome.}

Agree4 Disagree4

Ed1, what did he actually do wrong?

{Ed001's Note - it is not one thing mate, it is a constant poor attitude, failing to turn up on time, not being where he should etc. He has just been a complete pain in the rectum since we signed him. However, it was well known he was a pain to deal with, so I have to question why the scouts and transfer committee brought him in.}

I agree eds no player is bigger than the club. Is Coutinho now in that bracket. I don't really care that he has put in a transfer request and wants to go, but if there is truth in the fake injury and him saying he won't play again for the club then that shows a lack of respect for the club, his teammates and most importantly the fans who idolised and supported him from day 1.

To add to that Ed, the guy is a complete flake as he takes responsibility for anything he does or has done which is why PSG sent him packing as well. Continuously flouting the manager's orders YET going on twitter to say, "I did nothing wrong" or "who has never been late for a training session or meeting", tells you the character and moral compass of the person you are dealing with. I don't care if we concede 70 goals this season. Sahko should never play for LFC again, end of.

Ed001, do you think it shows a lack of man management from Klopp? There are stories about how Fergie would give players like Cantona different treatment to get the best out of them.

Surely a managers job is to get the best out of what he has? Sometimes you get difficult people that have to be managed differently. People who try less but still do a better job than others. Or people who are late but still get more work done. It is universal across all industries, and the best managers get the best out of their work force.

I have no inside knowledge on the situation to be fair, so I'm just putting the question to you really.

{Ed001's Note - no, Cantona worked hard in training and stayed behind to do extra training. Fergie gave him leeway because he could be trusted. Sakho just wants to doss around having a laugh.}

19 Aug 2017 10:28:09
If he didn't have a problem he would still be at PSG.

Imagine we did have VVD signed now and Sakho was behaving. I know we'd have to sell but those two could be a very good pairing.

{Ed001's Note - they both play on the left of defence.}

19 Aug 2017 10:47:48
In fairness Cantona was a c**t but he was a leader and a match winner. Sakho is neither those.

19 Aug 2017 10:53:41
Sure, blame Klopp for Sahko's shortcomings cos hey, he is the seond coming of Paulo Maldini. Frankly, The Sahko love-in is becoming boring and tedious now.

19 Aug 2017 11:00:52
Hes probably been advised to do and say these things by the same genius who advised him last year to sign a long contract with no get out clause!

It doesn't make sense, as everybody knew for years that he would only leave us for Barca. So why not have it covered in the contract just in case?

Anyway, the club should let him go as what's tbe point in forcinv him to stay while at the same hoping to sign players who have similar contracts with other clubs.

19 Aug 2017 11:08:49
Lfcder why let him go for the equivalent of three magic beans though? £80m over five years? Unacceptable. The add ons aren't even worth discussing because they are so intangible. What were they smoking?

19 Aug 2017 11:14:08
Bingo wind your neck in lad, it was a question. I actually don't think Sakho is as good as some believe. He is better than Lovren and Klavan but that isn't anything to tell your grandchildren about.

Thanks for the insight Ed001. So basically Sakho doesn't put in the effort for Klopp to look past his issues. Understandable i guess. It is a shame how Sakho behaves though because he is a decent player. He could perhaps be even better with the correct attitude.

Ed001, do you think Sakho getting given too much too young at PSG made him into the monster we see today? He was earning a fortune by 19, and had already captained them. Perhaps he thought he'd made it and lost sight of how to succeed in the game?

Sorry for the questions, just fancy something different to talk about 😂.

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, he lost the drive, imo. It happens, they think they have made it and slack in training, that was why Cantona was so important at United. The class of 92 all worked with him and were inspired by him to work harder. It was working with him that made Beckham spend so much time practising his free kicks. Sakho never had that influence alongside him when he broke through.}

19 Aug 2017 11:26:10
I should have included that about what side they play. Also, the money they're earning that shouldn't matter should be comfortable either side. Although with Sakho it's hard to tell, he looks awkward passing with both feet.

{Ed001's Note - it doesn't work like that, it is two different positions.}

19 Aug 2017 11:32:34
Sorry Mr Denis, I should have made my post clearer,

I meant to say that if the clubs interests have bee looked after and the payment structure is identical to the terms that we ask of other clubs when we sign players. Then the club should let him go.

Cantona was good at Karate as well, He was a thug, and should have been jailed for assault.
Some role model.
