I am actually very pleased by the way club has done business under Klopp.

Most of the defensive signings did not cost fortune.

Klavan, matip, karius Robertson etc,

Where as Lovren Clyne Sakho moreno all were costly.

Money spent on mane is certainly worth. I am expecting Salah also to produce goods for lfc.

What do you guys think?

Devil's advocate, although 'cheap' could the jobs of Klavan and Karius not currently be filled by Ward and Gomez etc? There was also the loan of Caulker that was probably unnecessary.

That said, no manager will have a perfect transfer record, and I think he's right more than wrong! Certainly knows how to pick an attacker!

I think your deluded, there's a reason they didn't cost a fortune, they aren't good enough! How can anybody be happy with how our club has done business? 😂😂😂.

The way have done business under Klopp has been appaling. Yes, he has signed some decent players but look at the whole VVD saga, that proves the manner in which we have done our business has been nothing short of shite.

There's a reason the Old Kent Road is cheaper than Park Lane in Monopoly.

You're joking right?

I like what Klopp has done on the pitch but his transfer dealing has been an absolute embarassment. The mans arrogance exceeds that of Rodgers, even if he is slightly less mouthy to the press.

I kind of see where you are coming from in that he has got us competing on a relatively low budget but the only reason we haven't spent big money is because he keeps screwing up the deals with his disrespectful, arrogant behaviour. He literally thinks he has the right to tap players up and then moan about losing his own players.

I wish he was working under a director of football. Klopp needs to be cut out of all transfer negotiations, and he needs to be forced to take on a proper defensive coach. Not an ex-player who will kiss his back side, but a proper old school defensive coach like Phelan, Wilkins, Clarke, Karanka etc.

He is a great tactical coach. People who say he is bad at tactics are clueless because tactically poor managers don't beat the big sides. He is actually a very poor motivator contrary to popular belief, as is shown by his inability to get his players up for the smaller games. He is also a very poor judge of defenders, and he has no clue about set piece defending. His actual open play tactics are great though. We rarely ever get dominated and are almost always the team in control. Against the big teams where he doesn't need to worry about motivating or focusing the players we are fine.

I think he is unfairly criticised for his record in finals. Finals are a lottery. Our last 3 final victories (CL 05, FA 06, LC 12) were all penalty wins. We have a bigger issue regarding finals that is more down to our players not coping with the pressure of winning trophies at historically one of the top 5 clubs in Europe, than managers making tactical errors. How can anyone blame Klopp for a lost shoot out and the Moreno comedy show?

Overall, decent coach who needs to accept help where needed before he ends up sacked for either off field discrepancies or on field results (or lack of) .

Yes yes yes. let's complain about klopp because that's what most people do on this site. when he does leave and leave he will (eventually) just remember the bitching most of you have done. VVD, Keita, salah, Brandt etc are all footballers of a much higher quality than what we are use to being linked with (several years) . That certainly comes down to the klopp influence, not solely but certainly a large percentage. So be careful what you wish for because we can always can woy hodgson back. Get your tampons out and focus on showing some bloody loyalty.

Mane is the only one he can call a success so far. some are not here long enough to judge and the rest are dross.

I have no idea why MK's post has is unpopular, I thought it was a great read personally.
Klopp's finals record is skewed by the fact that, more often than not, he's gone into them as the underdog, and in finals that means you usually lose.

Razor sharp, old Kent road is also a lot cheaper to turn into something decent.

"A poor motivator contrary to popular belief" - would you care to back that up with a source, or is that an opinion you're trying to pass off as fact?
