You alway have to wait for 10 league games to be done before you can start to see how the season might pan out. That allows all teams to have settled, played a mix of home and away and different quality teams and surprise packages.
After 6 games last season Chelsea were in 8th place.

There was also a clueless journo/ pundit who said Chelsea would not make the top 4 after the perceived bad TW they had and after they lost the FIRST game of the season to Burnley playing one man down. Can you believe that nonsense?
They are doing the same thing to us and Klopp right now and the moaners are gobbling all that nonsense up. WHEREAS, we have a team like Spurs who can't buy a win at home YET he is not under any pressure BUT Klopp and Conte are or were? See the media agenda here? The media will bring down whoever they want to bring down and that is reality.

We are supposedly supporters after all, so we should do exactly that.
Nothing wrong with constructive criticism or debate as maybe it'll filter through to him eventually and he'll have a think about things with the fans wishes in mind.
I still 100% think he's the man for this job.

Thing is that Chelsea had decent centre backs, a top notch keeper and a good solid centre midfield to rely on, so it was a matter of time before it came good. We have none of those things.

I got my use out of it now and thanks again for the loan of it.
It only made intermittent appearances and wasn't up to the standard that I thought it would be initially.

None of Chelsea's CB's wold survive in our system as Conte plays a defensive system with two midfielders who sit in front of the back 3 tho they are not DM's and can get forward. We had the same issue with Lovren at Saints and when he came here with Joe Allen at DM and no protection, he cracked big time. Systems matter, Dennis.

kev do u really think Kloop has given us the reason to be positive. when he starts winning the games and bring us top of the table just like Conte did for Chelsea we will be positive. till then take off your rose tinted glasses and embrace the truth - Kloop is underperforming, his team is disbalanced, we haven't won our last 4 games. Noone wants him gone yet just want him to change his style.

Crazy, 'We haven't won in the past 4 games" Oh, the horror. So cos we haven't won a game in a measly four games at the start of the season, Klopp should now rip everything up and start again, right? I agree he can tweak things and make personel changes at the bback and in midfield as that is where we have issues. Spurs haven't won a home game this season so is Poch suddenly now an idiot? Is he ripping everything up, right now? Our attack is fine as we are creating chances BUT not scoring them and this debate has been litigated ad nauseum so bringing it up is a fool's errand.
Your Conte comparison is just ludicrous. The Chelsea team he took over was already a championship team who just took a season off to get their loud mouth manager fired. Conte came in and tried to play the 4 - 3 - 3 even tho, it was not his formation cos as a player and manager, he always played in a 3-5-2. After losses to us and Arsenal, he found out that it was not working and went to his true system and they caught fire. Football is not an exact science and saying we should do what x or y did w/ o knowing the context is just shallow thinking.
