Ed do you think we have a chance to get Baines? We all know Everton haven't got a penny to spend, had to loan out decent players just to lower the wage bill. If we offer a fair price (13-14 million) I think Everton would accept, would help pay for their debts and would allow them to get a striker they badly need. Also Baines is a Liverpool fan. Baines has been the best left back this year imo. {ed's note - Everton are not in a position to refuse decent offers but they would take somebody else's money if they matched our bid.}

Hot OF THE PRESS LFC have agreed a precontract with Marveaux the winger from Rennes he was even at anfield in january for the wolves game! On bleacher report , your opinion ed will he be a good addition? well done KK for going ahead of the pack!

I think Marveaux is a good player and getting him for free is a nice move. However I don't think he is good enough to be in the first 11 week in and week out. He has alot of versatility being able to play all along the midfield in attacking roles and even being able to play leftback. I think for a top level club that is where his value is, as a super sub.
Kenny has shown the inclination to change formation and tactics based on our opponents so there will be games where Marveauxs skills fit what Kenny wants and he will start. There will be games where he doesn't fit exactly the style we want to play and he won't start.
Basically if the Marveaux signing is real Id still expect us to spend money on another attacker this summer to put up front in a 4-3-3 with Suarez and Carroll. Whether its Bohan, Gervinho, Lavezzi, Young or someone no one has even brought up yet.
I think Marveaux is good enough for Liverpool but if he is a fixture in our first 11 Id be somewhat dissapointed.

Any truth in what Aldo said last week in an irish paper about Ashley Cole coming to Liverpool in the summer.
A lot of people are clicking on the unbelievable button for this rumour - I'm the person who posted the original story and am only reporting what Aldo wrote in his column. Please feel free to check this out and prove me wrong. As I also posted I would not want the money grabber anywhere near the club.

hibsylfc {ed's note - I have never seen him play, but he was being tracked by the likes of Chelsea so that is a good sign.}

OK peeps, match day is upon us. For those of you who will not be at the game:–
HOW TO WATCH LIVERPOOL ON THE INTERNET
1. Install the browser Google Chrome.
2. Look in the top right (your right) corner and you will see a spanner.
3. Click on the spanner and select 'tools'.
4. Click on extensions
5. At the bottom right (as you look at it) you will see 'Get More Extensions >>'. Select this.
6. In the search box type 'Chrome Live Football' and search.
7. Click on Chrome Live Football and then click on install. (it may download to a holding file in the bottom left as you look at it, in which case as soon as it's finished click there, but mostly it will install itself)
8. A small football will then appear in the top right (as you look at it). Click on that, select 'live stream' and reset the clock to GMT and it will list all the live games available all over europe and other places.
You may occasionally need to install other programmes or the link you pick will only work on Explorer (in which case cut and paste the URL into Explorer), but you will always get every Liverpool match (or any other). Sometimes you will only be able to find it with foreign commentary and sometimes you will get it in English. You'll get about thirty links and you may have to look through a lot of them to get what you want. You will also get most La Liga matches, Greek matches, Italian matches and French matches as well as top matches from South America.
Someone also asked about viruses etc. Google Chrome is actually far more secure than Internet Explorer so the risks are considerably less, but you should have decent virus/ spyware programmes and run sweeps regularly as a matter of course.
The quality will also depend on the speed of your internet connection. If you have super–speed and have a modern HD TV, consider connecting your PC to the TV via the PC socket on the side/ back.
Cut and paste the above into a document and save it for future reference.

Ed do you think there is any chance of us signing Defour or Banega in the summer would love or one in our centre mid or cover.
Also do you think we will show any interest in Sanchez of Udinese in the summer. He's looking to leave I know that much? {ed's note – no and I am not sure to be honest, I would love us to sign him but I have not heard of us moving for him. Chelsea and United have both made interest plain, Chelsea had talks with Udinese in January.}

As i posted earlier agger and gerrard both out 2moro, agger injured in warm up for the denmark england game never told anyone and aggravated it, skrtel fit starts alongside carra, suarez up front with kuyt
I had a text last night which suggested that Tom Ince could also be in line for his league debut. Don't know how reliable though.
