"Manchester United have now made Pepe Reina their number 1 transfer target - They had an offer accepted for David De Gea but he isn't ready to leave his family at such a young age - Reina will be in goal for Manchester United next season - "FACT"

Would love to know where your 'FACTS' come from.

No chance will Reina be a Utd player, EVER! You really think KK would sell him to them? Not a chance.
Reina would not be able too/ or be disloyal enough to ever move to Man Utd. FACT!

How reliable is caught offside as a source ed can you believe anything they say {Ed001's Note - no, it is just a bunch of people making up stories, nothing else, they were still referring to Hodgson as Liverpool manager in a story last month!}

Ed I posted up here he other day but it didn't get published. Liverpool ARE in the hunt for not only Conor wickham, but also Joshua Carson from Ipswich. The 17 yr old defender will sign for the reds and return to Ipswich on loan. Kk did ask for a recommendation from youth player Ryan McLaughlin hu KK thinks very highly of and who played with Carson from milk cup and all the way up through the northern Ireland squads. Ed this is 100% truthful have u heard anything of it? {Ed001's Note - only that we have had Ipswich watched but I have not heard of any move for either as of yet.}

Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten is claiming that Kenny Dalglish and Damien Comolli are planning to make a mad dash for Germany to personally secure the signature of Wolfsburg star Simon Kjaer.

Dalglish reportedly sees Kjaer as perfect for the center half position at Liverpool.

The defender has been rated one of the top on his kind in the Bundesliga, but with Wolfsburg currently struggling and sitting third last on the table and facing relegation, speculation is growing that the Danish international is set to make an exit.

The 22 year old was linked with Liverpool last year while he was playing for Serie A side Palermo, but Kjaer signed with Wolfsburg instead.

Now that Wolfsburg are reportedly looking to cash in on the youngster, Liverpool are back in the hot seat to work out a deal, and both the Liverpool manager and football director are wasting no time in securing the star s signature.

ED's

Any truth in this resurfaced rumour that Villa Boas will be the next manager.This was doing the rounds at crimbo and before Woy was appointed.There is no smoke without fire unless its just mischief making

Surely FSG would not do this to KK (unless he has agreed to step aside which I don't think so) {Ed001's Note - no truth in it.}

Any truth in the rumour that we have offered Cole+8mn for Young? Ed, macca? {Ed001's Note - I have not heard anything like that.}

Hey Ed. Hearing rumours tonight that Liverpool want Birminghams Sebastien Larsson on a Bosman Free Transfer in the Summer when his contract ends in June. Is this true and what are the chances of us getting him??? {Ed001's Note - I have not heard of any move for him at all, I would be shocked if we did move for such a poor player.}

Alex Ferguson got all flustered about David De Gea because he knows Liverpool may become involved in a bidding war should Reina declare his intentions to leave in the summer. Liverpool could easily outbid Man U if a war started. Man United will only have a set tranfer budget of around £30 mil, where as Liverpool will have no limit, and will deal with things on a deal to deal basis (if the player is worth it, there will be cash to get that player.)

popeye popescu {Ed002's Note - So Liverpool have no transfer limit then? I think you may be disappointed.}

@ popeye the reason SAF got flustered is cause the deal is as good as done.
How could there be a bidding war when we have already met his buy out clause dum dum.

So if another club met the players buy out clause would that not start a bidding war. . dum dum

Chelsea are negotiating with Atletico Madrid for Kun Aguero. They are looking for a fee of around £50million. From what Ive been told, Fernando Torres has been talked about as well, not part of that particular deal but a return to Madrid for cash. A fee of around £35million has been suggested for Torres. Although Inter and AC Milan could enter the frame should Chelsea decide to cut their losses. If Rafa Benitez decides to take over at Atletico, then this could sway Fernando's decision. Although it remains to be seen if he still has the stomach to do it in the premiership. He has had trouble fitting in with his new team mates, (The majority of the squad on team Drogba. They are unhappy with the way he has been treated since Fernandos arrival.) Crash Bandicoot Ray

What a laugh Ed eh. . Pardew says there is no deal for Enrique. Is this the same person who said Carroll was not for sale on deadline day. Roll on the summer

{Ed002's Note - I agree that there is, at this time, no deal for Enfique.}

13 Apr 2011 16:29:29
Seb Larsson on a free? I'd take him. He's not the quickest but he has a sweet right foot, great delivery & a good shot. Someone who would add strength in depth, could be a good back up RM to Ashley Young? ;)

I know this will cause massive debate and strong feelings but with Torres struggling to get on the score sheet at Chelsea would everyone accept him back say for example Liverpool could secure his services for £25-30m? Means a return of £20m return on his tranfer fee and 3 great strikers on the books?

25-30 mill is more than we paid for suarez so no.
aintree dave

(9)bel (13)unbel that means you thirteen like torres
over suarez then or what? that's basically what i am saying so suarez or torres if both the same price.

{Ed002's Note - I would not read too much in to the voting on this. Also, Torres is not likely to be for sale in teh summer.}

" Kenny Dalglish will be given the permanent job in the next week regarding positivity is shown at the emirates. John Henry said 'result is not important, passion on and off the pitch is and we are still investigating whether kenny has this' "

When and where was the above said? if true, it will be the first time I have real doubts about the owners, if they cannot already see the passion for all thing Liverpool that Kenny has, they are living in a Dream World, investigate WHAT! ! exactly ? I for one think the poster of this is being at best economical with the truth. .He may get a contract next week the rest is BULLS**T

Hi ed,
what are the chances of us getting these players in the summer:

taiwo
adam
young
Gary Cahill
Shane Long
Lennon

{Ed002's Note - Aside from Long, the others are as likely as they have always been. I don't know of any Liverpool interest in Long, so at the moment pretty unlikely.}

13 Apr 2011 13:04:28
Villas Boas will be our next manager.

Kenny has always known his position was interim, and he will be appointed footballing ambassador. {Ed001's Note - give it up, this is fantasy nonsense, KK never ever has accepted his position as an interim, when he was appointed the owners knew he could not be an interim. That was why it took them so long to get rid of Hodgson and appoint him, they know that they have to make it permanent if possible.}

13 Apr 2011 13:06:23
Kenny Dalglish will get the contract a couple of days after the end of the season, if he keeps the good form going, which is very likely. He won't be given a budget, the transfers will be dealt with on a deal-by-deal basis.

Outs: Maxi, Poulsen, Kyrgiakos, Konchesky, Aquilani, N'Gog (loan), Pacheco (loan)

Ins: Charlie Adam, Ashley Young, Balazs Dzsudzsak, Jose Enrique, Sylvain Marveaux & Sturridge.

King Kenny will not be getting the job permanently as Andres Villas-Boas has signed a pre contract with us

Enrique, Cahill, Adam, Young are nailed on atm.

Bids have been made for Hazard and Dzsudzsak (Hazard rejected, Dzsudzsak we're in talks with)

Marveaux- nothing been agreed yet, Liverpool having doubts over his fitness and durability, but have not pulled the plug just yet.

I expect us to go back for Elia after failing to get him in Jan.

Closely watching Afellay and Payet.

Benzema, there was a gentleman's agreement to sign in summer but following his good run of form, Real may pulll the plug. Van Wolfswinkel, Remy, Gervinho and Bojan are options for upfront too.

And a backup GK will sign, Smithies, Douchez, or a GK from the SPL (I think Motherwell).

Xabi alonso to return this summer after falling out with Jos Mourinho earlier this year, so does that mean we can finally get rid of poulson?

Bulgarian fans sought Livesport.bg and wanted to share a few words about Reina and what is happening at the club.

"Tired of us traitors. expatriate Spaniards are such one and all. This is Torres, Alonso and these are Arbeloa. They want to play for clubs of the day, not interested in history, traditions, the fans. We found out that Pepe is one of them. It may be one of the best of his post in the world can be subscribed to a "golden gloves". He no longer wants to play for us, he wants to get out of Liverpool and most likely to put the team Manchester United in the summer. Once you want to be a traitor - OK, those of us players do not need, "said native fans 18-over champions multiples of Christo Evstatiev Livesport.bg.

"A good option to replace Reyna would Niki Mihaylov. You know that he was our player and is now in Twente. However, to get it back to 1 million, what is 1 million for a young and very promising goalkeeper. sure We are sure that he wants to play at Anfield. We will be happy at last to put a Bulgarian team of our favorite club "were adamant supporters of the team.

According to Spanish radio station Onda Cero, as posted on the BBC's gossip column, Man U will be signing David de Gea with a deal already in place. Pepe has been linked with United so hope this news is true. Loosing Reina would be a major blow. Im confident FSG will appoint KK and release funds to improve squad quality and depth, which will assure Reina & co along with the incoming talent.

The futures bright. The futures RED!
