Jordan Ibe could be sent on loan in January. particularly if we make new signings in similar position. Blackburn most interested and likely at present I'm told

Eds is there any truth in the reported interest in Wijnaldum from us?

Also do we expect Flanno or Enrique to be back by the weekend and who do you think we will drop to get Sturridge back in the starting 11? Couhtino?

{Ed001's Note - there was in the past, but I don't know of any recent interest from us. Sakho and Allen are the injured players that are due back at the weekend. I am not sure we will put Sturridge back in yet, he might get eased back in due to his injuries. He will be assessed over the week to decide, though Coutinho does look the most in danger.}

Coutinho is try to hard due to Brazil shoot from everywere over doing it he is trying to make the squad and is making bad decisions due to this you can see it in hos play now compare to when he joined maybe a rest and rogers to have a chat relax him would be best

Hi eds just wondering on your thoughts on a couple of players Douglas Costa and Alex teixera of shaykh tar both like excellent players. How do you rate them are either attainable have we had them watched and if not who is interested. The only concern for me would be adapting to a quicker league

Udinese appear to be interested in Borini- Ed I think that we should get rid of him if we can this year and use the money elsewhere
In my view it was an impulse buy by Rodgers and if anyone wants to take him we should bite their hand off

{Ed002's Note - We will see in the summer. I would think the chances of a move to Udinese at anytime are very slim.}

Borini is a good player, and if he wants to stay to be back up/cup game I think he could be a very good player for us!

I think borini is looking a lot more confident at Sunderland, see how goes for rest ofthe season and if need be loan him back out again along with assidi at Stoke, both still fighting the lfc front, specially assidi he taken a few points from our rivals already. (Keep them both on books allow them to grow and gain experience while helping us when the loan clubs play our rivals.both have already done great job doing just that.)

To compliment this morning's (albeit very early) post we are definitely interest in M'Vila, however we need to act FAST if we're to sign him as Napoli are keen as well. It's apparent that we did make a bid for him from the conversations I've had, however it was for a loan to buy, not a full transfer for now.

We seem somewhat tentative about committing to him, which is understandable considering his off the field issues, however the player is clearly talented & interested. I have no idea what the fee would be should it actually go through.

Why would anyone spend 15mil on a player as useless as he is, backward signing for Liverpool

The only wing backs I know of interest in are Bertrand (unlikely) & Moreno (unlikely). It's hard to do business in January.

I expect Salah to sign, but football is pretty unpredictable.

Heard through the grapevine that Liverpool have had a bid for Yann M'Vila accepted. The player is expected to arrive later this week for a medical and to agree terms.

Where have you heard this then am not going to get my hopes up of us signing anyone this window I don't think brendan was ever going to sign anyone I hope i'm wrong as we really need 2 or 3 home signing to still be in top 4 come the end of the season

Again, it's just what I've heard. I would be skeptical whether it will also, I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

Hi eds, hope all is well with yourselves, just wondering about these links we have for georginio wijnaldum, of psv, I've just seen that psv are on the verge of signing Bryan ruiz, now would that open up the door for our rumoured 9m pound bid to go through and sign a very talented player who would surely give us an extra dimension in going forward.

Has there been any new updates on Hiram Mier? And do you think he will fit well in BR's system?

Seems like talent, but do you think he will be ahead of Johnson, or will he be benched. if ever.

Hi Ed's and Reds, I know wew were interested in Turan in the summer, but with Athletico Madrid doing so well in La Liga would we have a chance if we put in a bid?

If not would he be a possibility in the summer?

Eds i've heard a rumour that salahs contract with basel is up in the summer and we could wait till then and get him for free! Any truth in this? Also do you believe we will sign a left back and winger in this window? Thanks

Football is a harsh business. I know we disagree on this one but Enrique has been very decent value for money over his Liverpool career and Cissokho's only been here a couple of months - new country, new team mates, changing defence etc. - very difficult to impress.
Liverpool's recent record of bringing players in on loan rests a little uneasy with me. Sort of papering the cracks or painting over that persistent damp patch on the wall in the corner.

The Club maintains confidence that Salah will sign. We have agreed terms in principle with him but are refusing to budge on price. Will it work out however is a question I'm not able to answer. As far as I am aware the difference in prices is about 3m but with the player seemingly convinced of joining us we should be able to strike a deal.

There is interest in M'Vila, will try and find out if there has been action with regards to this interest.

We have met the 12 mil agreement. deal should be done, Medical by Tuesday I have heard?

Brendon keep the same defence 4 a few matches. Bring kelly at rb.
