Ed have we made a bid for Neto?
Believable5
Unbelievable2
{Ed002's Note - I don't know. Neto had agreed to renew his contract at Fiorentina before verbally agreed to join Juventus - kicking off a tapping up argument. It now looks like he will run his contract down but he can negotiate with non Serie A teams now.}

I'm over Neto. Let's sign Beto instead.

{Ed002's Note - WBA have enquired after a loan.}

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa is set to reject Arsenal and Chelsea in favour of a return to former club Liverpool any legs on this eds
Believable10
Unbelievable20
{Ed002's Note - I wouldn't think another right back would be a priority at this time.}

Would take Arbeloa over Johnson all days of the week, but it would never happen.

Hi Ed002,
some reports say Borini and Ballotelli are going nowhere in January. Can you confirm that? Is it because no one is interested, Rodgers wants to keep them or something else? thanks.
Believable11
Unbelievable4
{Ed002's Note - Borini is keen to stay at Liverpool and take any opportunity that comes. As I have explained - Balotelli has been offered to clubs in England and Italy but no one is interested at the price being asked.}
13 Jan 2015 18:26:27
So we have 2 Strikers at the club who the Manager does not rate and will not play them unless he really has to? Sounds a bit of a mess.
Will this have a direct impact on any hopes we have of. Ringing in Origi in Jan Ed or not?
Agree0
Disagree1
{Ed002's Note - I didn't say any of that. I have explained the Origi situation - he is far from ready for the EPL at this time.}
I no you didn't say that mate, that's just the way I see it at the minute. He clearly doesn't like playing them so it seems we are almost stuck with them at least until the summer?

Hi Eds,
Just a question on what you think of agbonlahor and think if he may be a good alternative to look at if we move on some of the guys we have up top?
Would he even be available?
Just think with his pace he could be lethal for the right club
Thanks

{Ed002's Note - He doesn't score enough goals. I am not aware of any interest in him.}

Hey Eds, any truth in the Lavezzi to L'Pool rumours? Supposedly 8m, could it be where the Lucas money is going?
Thanks!
Believable6
Unbelievable11
{Ed002's Note - A meeting between Inter and PSG on December 30 concluded that the transfer of Lavezzi could take place but first PSG need to talk with the player about reduced wage demands - but he returned to South America without permission and Inter are unlikely to progress any transfer now. Neither Napoli nor Valencia should be discounted from making a bid. Chelsea were offered Lavezzi in exchange for another player but declined. Lavezzi has now threatened to retire from the game.}
I can't see how yet another attacking midfield player would help Liverpool at all at this time.}

I can't see how he'd help us either but that doesn't necessarily mean he won't be signed. ;)

{Ed002's Note - His other option might be Juventus.}

Why would he threaten to retire Ed?, he's only 30yrs (or will be this year).

{Ed002's Note - Lavezzi can be a real pain.}

If you don't mind me asking, could you explain what has gone wrong at PSG for him? I know it's not really for this forum, but it is a Lavezzi thread I guess lol.

Saw something, yes on twitter, yesterday saying Sturridge has had a reoccurence of the injury which kept him out for 18 weeks. Just wondering if anyone knows whether its true or not?

Which is exactly why I didn't come on saying Sturridge is injured. But sometimes even twitter can have some truths.

I certainly hope so, losing more and more faith in Rodgers transfer dealings as time goes on.
Suso on a free?! Lucas our only dedicated DM to leave? Goalkeeper not strengthened in summer but we had the money to buy Lambert, Origi, Balotelli and keep Sturridge and Borini?
