Q for eds. Given that it looks likely Borini will be on his way in January, and depending on what you hear, possibly Mario as well if a buyer could be found, as it would appear that no further transfer funds will be made available other than the money from these potential sales, are you aware of any strikers we are scouting who would cost the same to buy or would we just persevere with what is left and gamble on Sturridge being fit?

{Ed002's Note - The club will need to drop their financial expectations for the sale of Balotelli to around half to stand any chance of selling him in January. I am by no means sure that Borini will be sold, but he may well be available. If both were sold I would expect there is a chance that an alternate solution to be sought even though the club has Sturridge, Lambert and Yetsil with Origi arriving in the summer and Aspas returning. However, you have to ask yourself that if the owners are going to push ahead and replace the manager, would they want to be giving more money to Rodgers at this time?}

I wouldn't give him more money to spend in the same process even if he was staying long term. Too much money being blown and too many players not working out.

So Ed, the big question then. Are the club looking to replace BR and should we expect movement on that front in the immediate future? Can't believe they're waiting for the Carling Cup, but BR has failed one of his season objectives already. When do they decide he's going to miss the seconf?

Eds, does that mean that Iago Aspas will be returning to Liverpool? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - He is out on loan - and like all other players on loan, at the end of the loan he will return to his club.}

Completely agree with you Ed002, the owners would be right not to give him any more, the problem is though as things stand we are a pretty poor side.

Do you think Rodgers will still be in the job in January Ed002? I'm not so sure he will be, especially if we lose to Bournemouth on Wednesday.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - I have answered this over and overt. RTP.}

I don't know if Mario or borini will leave in January but how can aspas, yesil be an option ?

Aspas never gets an opportunity under Rodgers .he was loaned because he can't be shipped during summer.yesil haven't yet sattle his career in Liverpool.surely he can't be a option for the first team.

Strridge is injury prone, origi is just a kid who would need time to sattle. They aren't real options for
Liverpool any way.

When sturridge is fit its not a problem but when he is injured same quality goal scorer is needed .

Is it strange that I'm beginning to think we should have held on to Aspas? He never really got a chance with Sturridge and Suarez having the best form of their careers. In retrospect, I don't think Aspas would have been worse than the 2 we brought in or Borini. He certainly would have been more mobile than the other options.

Would yesil be ready for a call up

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - He has 8 goals in 7 games for the German U19 side but likely has no future at LFC under the current regime.}

ive just heard that Brad Jones is going to be staying in goal for the time being, now i don't know if its because we have a cup game or maybe mingolet is just getting a rest and extra training, or maybe he has had words with BR and he has been brendend, also i wonder how balo would have felt being on the bench in the 1st half when our team never had a striker in it, i reallt think BR does not have a clue on how to handle players, i remember when we bought Crouch and he never scored for month he still played week in week out, with BR leaving a striker on the bench and starting 11 not having a striker in then it would be baffeling to any striker in the world and it gives the wrong message out if i was balo i would be thinking WTF, maybe he is trying to be like the special one when he played without any strikers,

Morning all. Have any premier league teams looked Jonathan Tah? Standing at nearly 6ft 4" and has the strength of an ox. Quite a presence

{Ed002's Note - No, he is out on loan for the year.}
