chile, think about it, sanchez, vidal, isla, bravo, medel, vargas etc are all better than him! Time will tell but in my opinion he is far from good enough for chelsea!

Sienna you're talking absolute rubbish. You clearly have no idea what you're talking if you think he is an average player, he's the one midfielder who i genuinely hoped we would push for and is now signing for the champions.

FYI he is considerably better than Vargas & Isla. It takes a lot to maintain a permanent place in the Chile central midfield, especially when you think of the quality of the competition for his place.

Aranguiz is not dissimilar to Vidal in terms of quality and as pointed out by the chairman of the club where he started rightly pointed out, Vidal has had opportunities that Aranguiz has not which is why he is at Juve and Aranguiz is at Internacional

Hi, i'm chilean and long time arsenal fan. If you saw our entire matchs and no goals only, you should know that Aránguiz have been our best player on WC and copa América. Wish he could join alexis.

My Brother in Law works for Villa (in some capacity)

He text me last night stating that Liverpool and Villa had re-opened talks yesterday about Benteke? Any truth to this?

He claims to be ITK with all things Villa but whether he does or not i'm not sure

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any talks yesterday but the view from someone close to the matter in Belgium is that Liverpool will be making another offer and know what would be acceptable to at least get some final negotiation underway.}

The club must be pretty confident in getting a deal done for him though because they don't seem to have a back-up lined up!?

If Liverpool or another club is paying the realease clause on deadline day, Villa will not have much time to find a replacement. Question is then if Villa is willing to sell sooner to a smaller fee to get more time to use the money wisely? I bellieve so and therefore the fee should be close to £30m.

It also seems like we are waiting for the Sterling deal to go through before finalising the deal.

I can't believe we're wasting all that money on Benteke, it's as if we haven't learnt any lessons from all the previous wasting of money.
