Hi Eds, further to the Benteke enquiry has there been any further activity or do you think it is dependant on Suarez? {Ed002's Note - I suspect it will not be followed up due to price if nothing else.}

Believable5 Unbelievable22

Ed002 any idea on other strikers we will target if benteke is deemed to expensive? {Ed002's Note - I have explained what I think is going to happen.}

Agree0 Disagree0

And what's that then

Come on ed002 what's going on {Ed002's Note - Why not RTP.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I honestly think he will be a one season wonder, he reminds me so much if a certain emile heskey.

Liverpool are apparently negotiating with Sporting for Rui Patricio.

Sporting are looking to buy Mario Felgueras

Believable39 Unbelievable49

Hmm. this one actually makes sense

Agree0 Disagree0

Very good Goalkeeper would be happy if true last I heard they wanted £12. 7M, perhaps a double deal on the cards with Ilori.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would think he would be a tad out of our price range, no?

Agree0 Disagree0

There was an abola article today that said Patricio's release clause is 40 million euros, BUT he could be obtained for 10 million, so he should be within range.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is exactly how it happened to me on FIFA13, pepe put in a transfer request and I ended up buying Rui. Weird.

Ed's are Liverpool intersted in Damiao? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Believable5 Unbelievable39

I'd certainly like to see him at LFC.

Not specifically Liverpool related but have you heard of any interest from any team in Loic Remy? Surely too good for the championship and I seem to recall hearing he has a low release clause. I personally thought he looked quite good in a struggling team last year. Any ideas eds? Cheers {Ed002's Note - Remy may well move on at the and an enquiry was expected from Spurs. Inter see Remy as a cheap solution and have sought assistance from someone at Marseille to help persuade him to move from England, where he is apparently keen to stay. Any interest from other clubs, such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle at this time would seem to be no more than speculative.}

Having watched him play a couple of times, I'd question "too good for the Championship". A talented athlete certainly, but possibly marred by a petulant attitude? If he can get rid of that, he might be of some use to someone in the PL.

Agree0 Disagree0

Isnt he and his brother accused of gang rape.

So according to reports in Italy, Inter have rejected a 19. 5M bid from Barca for the GK Handanovic. With all the rumours about Reina signing for them this summer, i'm hoping they are false.

I think we need to keep hold of Reina, at least until we get our defence sorted out. We won't get anywhere by re-shuffling the majority of our back line. I think we can get another good 2-3 years out of him

Believable48 Unbelievable15

I think the only club Reina would move to is Barcelona and I don't think they want him, so I think he will stay.
If that is a good thing I am not so sure, but on balance I think you are right, too many changes in defence not a good thing.
I just hope he does not do a first half of the season like he did last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

You can get another 10 years out of reian, ''good years'' none

Agree0 Disagree0

Alternatively, it might be better to re-construct the entire defence in one go rather than bit-by-bit over the next 2-3 seasons. Better to be settled after 6 months than take 3 years of tinkering.

Reina is on the downside of career now, let him walk, even encourage it. The problem with a new keeper form outside England is it will take time to adapt to the league, so if they can sign someone with UK experience this is a plus.

Agree0 Disagree0

Reina not good enough. Sell him and buy a good, confident goalie, who, l instill confidence in the defenders!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes an awsome player mate, but there no point in keeping a player who dosent wanna be here and is going to sulk

Agree0 Disagree0

Reina is a great goalkeeper and a good positive voice to have in the dressing room. The guy is class!

i personally don't think he is a great shot stopper but he is pivotal to the way we are going to play football from the back, his passing is second to none and he is so good at getting the ball going forward from the back. wouldn't mind him going but we will definatley miss his footballing ability at the back. when brad jones was in goal we struggled hugely with just reseting from the back!

Agree0 Disagree0

Judge him over his career at LFC not just part of last season. He starts the spine of our team and we got to keep him.
So he fluffed a few last season, so did Joe Hart and De Gea at UTD. Keep him!

Agree0 Disagree0

What rubbish keepers best years are as they get older reina is a top keeper and they are hard to replace

Agree0 Disagree0

Its obvious to anyone who understands body language he doesn't really fancy it any more, if Barca or another top club came for him he'd be gone without a backward glance - betcha, we need to freshen all over the park, I feel we've gone stale, i'm glad Rogers is mixing it up we need it. Suarez could yet end up with egg on his face. these clubs should be told come and get him but if it's not done by july 31 he stays even if he's unhappy about it he signed a 4 year contract last season let him sit on the bench - he won't tho' because he can't not play he has to be involved.

Hi ed thanks for the work you are doing. Pls I have A̶̲̥̅ question 1) dose it mean that lfc can't say no if suarez say yes to his transfer to real madrid we need him oo 2) what player can match suarez quality that we are looking at. 3 ) what happening to carrol situation regarding his transfer to whu {Ed001's Note - 1. Of course we could say no, but what is the point? 2. No idea, but I am sure they won't be banned for a 3rd of the season. 3. He is on holiday, should be done when he gets back.}

Believable20 Unbelievable7

Good point Ed but Suarez is only banned for 20%, 1/5th of the season. Mind you it is the first 6 matches which are of course vital.

CR

Agree0 Disagree0

Suarez has almost served half his ban. During those four matches we scored ten goals and got ten points! Not a bad return. Providing we keep him and providing the fixture list is kind to us, I don't see why we can't start next season as we finished last.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't remember Suarez ever missing a game through injury? So it's my bet if he stays he'll still end up with more appearnces. MoM accolades and goals than most strikers who are for the best part constructed of glass.

Agree0 Disagree0

Suarez owes LFC "good style" with regards to suspentions and the way the fans and the club have stood by him. He should stay for one more season to help LFC into the top four. This could be on the understanding that he will then be sold to the highest bidder but I think this will not go down well with true reds after what he has said in the media.
