Hello Ed/s, someone on the radio said the other day that Rodgers is interested in reuniting with Steven Caulker next season and that he'll be looking to make a move for the lad come the Summer.

Not sure how true it is, but thought with the troubles we've been having in defence that it seems quite plausible. Rodgers had the lad on loan at Swansea and he ended up with an England cap and goal.

Cheers Ed's

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest from Liverpool at this time and the club have a surplus of centre backs right now.}

This is one of the few rumours from a buddy I can confirm that Liverpool are genuinely keeping a close look at, whether it materializes time will tell.

hi eds.
is lfc interested in Salih Ucan? he s value 7m. I've seen him play a lot & really like his style. definitely suit Rodger's style of play. if we can get him under 10m then we can put most of our fund to find better winger and left back.

whats your opinion in him?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool has no interest in Ucan. Manchester United, Roma and Benfica have shown an interest in Ucan. Previous interest from Arsenal seems to have waned.}

Hi eds, is there any truth to the Alberto Moreno rumours? If so, what are the chances of a deal happening?

{Ed002's Note - I wouldn't hold your breath.}

Hi Eds, before the game kicks off and it looks like match of the day fever if he has a good game. Are any clubs looking at Rodrigo and if so who? Haven't watched Benfica this season so I'd forgotten about him.

Believable1 Unbelievable4

{Ed002's Note - Atletico Madrid have a sustained interest in Rodrigo and Arsenal probably maintain their interest.}

I'm hearing from my source that Liverpool have made tentative enquiries as to the availability of Inigo Martinez of Real Sociedad. Should we follow up this interest it'll be hard to prize him away as Sociedad, after their bankruptcy a couple of years ago, are one of the only spanish clubs not currently being strangled by debt.

That's brilliant, my source told me that Sociedad will not accept anything less than 30mil for him, what's your source going to say about that

Agree8 Disagree1

All I've heard is that we have enquired as to his availability. I stated quite clearly that it'll be incredibly hard as Sociedad don't really need the money.

Agree1 Disagree4

Did your source tell you that the only club that has enquired about him is Real Madrid

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - They are not the only club that has enquired.}

Thanks Ed02 I didn't want to ask straight out who was interested in him, I saw Real were interested and Sociedad president, Jokin Aperribay, said the same just recently, off course he never said anyone else and that he won't sell the player for anything less then 30mil as the other poster quite rightly said they don't need the money.

Agree1 Disagree1

I really don't see your point. Real are definitely not the only club to have enquired about him and he has been on our radar for quite some time. All I can tell you is what I get told. What I was told is that we have made an enquiry for him, NOTHING more. There would be so many constraints preventing us from moving for him, certainly not the least of which being the 7-odd CBs we already have & the price tag. I would expect a defensive clear out in the summer anyway due to the surplus of mediocre defensive players we have.
