Hiya eds just wanted to say gr8 site before I started. just wondered if any of u thought rodgers might have any interest In shaun maloney from wigan. seen him a lot this season and looks a top player. would fit in well with our squad despite being a bit older than our normal target. any feedback would be mint. pr1892 {Ed001's Note - no, too old, too many injuries and highly unlikely to be of any interest to us.}

1) Can you see Liverpool showing any interest in Adil Rami? I hear he may be moving on this summer and also that Liverpool will have representatives at the next Valencia game.

2) Are there any Centre Mids that you know of that we have shown particular interest in or that we are likely to do so?

Papadopoulos bid accepted 17 mil, issue with his knee though so scan will be done before deal goes further.

Since when did the transfer window open today then.

Wouldn't he have a scan anyway in his medical?

U can sign someone now but it wnt be official before transfer window opens.

I really hope he fails a medical if this is true, he's Gash (rubbish)

Fees etc can be done at any point. Just can't be finalised till the transfer window opens.

not surprised his knee is dodgy. he looks like he has a bit of Jan Molbys build about him.

I believe deal details can be sorted out before the opening of the transfer window, same way the deal with sturridge was done this winter.

You seem to have a real chip on your shoulder regarding Papadopoulos. is it because he's Greek? Have you actually watched him play? Are you the blinkered type of fan who thinks that we need an ignorant carthorse like Huth at the back?

Perhaps, as your name suggests, your depth of knowledge is not as profound as you would like. Leave the scouting to those in the know please!

Liverpool has won the race to sign Spanish attacker Sergi Canos after it was revealed that the youngster had rejected a new contract with Barcelona in order to make the move to Merseyside.

Is this true, as i've seen him play 3-4 times, he's oke, got potential like deep lying midfield player?

Barca do not want him to go and have offered him a contract. Liverpool have offered more.

The good part about English clubs is that English club allows player to start playing before the age of 18, under apprenticeship. So players can play in the first team while they are 16+. That's a major issue that Spanish club have been ranting about.

Liverpool have an interest in M. Diakite but he is not the 1st choice.
Other Choice's are Alderweild, Douglas and Papadoupolos. But with Alderweild and papadoupolos are looking less likelier. Douglas or diakite, one of the free agents may join if both coates and skrtel leave.
The main CB target is rather undisclosed and may be not the one of the common names people are rumouring on.

Has the Alderweireld deal to Roma been called off Ed? Hearing stories Roma have pulled out for some reason.

Any info would be appreciated.
