Really hope if we are going to move Skrtel, we go for someone like Dede or Benatia not someone like Ashley Williams. Rather keep Skrtel.

Really beleive Benatia and Agger have all that is needed for a Formidable Partnership. Waht do you reckon Fellow reds? {Ed002's Note - Mehdi Benatia turned down PSG in the summer but still interests Juventus and in particularly Napoli. Spurs, Milan, and just possibly Manchester United have shown recent interest.}

Latest rumours have Arsenal making a 20 Mil bid to get S. Jovetic from Fiorentina. Certainly if we can get anywhere around 12-15 Mil for Carroll and package that money with Borini (who Fiorentina have expressed interest in) we could beat Arsenal to this amazing player. A front 3 of Sturridge (ST), Suarez (RF), and Jovetic (LF) would be devestating. One can only hope right. {Ed002's Note - But Liverpool have shown no interest in Jovetic, and another club has been looking to open discussions with Fiorentina in the past couple of weeks. As such, I think it unlikely that Jovetic will be moving to Liverpool this summer.}
From what I hear arsenal are indeed interested in jovetic and would allow either gervinho or podolski to leave? Staying in london it seems most of the spanish press are indicating that higuain is spurs bound and that the transfer has nothing to do with bale who they believe will stay another year
I think if Spurs get Higuain and Arsenal get Jovetic then we will be that much further behind in the race for top 4. Top class players get results!
Ed, I hear you when you say LFC have not shown interest but I simply can't see why. He's a class player. Too bad.

Can we not just accept he was a big waste, and possibly just let him go for free or dirt cheap, yes we lose a lot of money (i can't see us making anywhere near the 35 we payed for him anyway ) but we save the mass of wages hell be expecting when he returns?
No one is asking for anywhere near 35 million but he is still worth 10 or 15
Today we lost against Southampton because we had no alternative when Sturridge was hhaving a bad game along with Suarez. This is where someone like Carroll comes in. I want him to stay at Liverpool. Great teams are known for mixing it around, here well drilled teams will always frustrate us with our simple sexy style soccer. Sometimes we just need to apply "Kenny Dalglish" logic and either hoof it to a big striker or use wingers to cross. I'm sure Carroll will do better than Borini will. He may not yet be worth the 35M but he can aatleast try, only if he is given a fair crack. I like Rodgers and want him to stay but his rubbish over reliance on Joe Allen who personally I rate lower than Henderson anyways is ridiculous. I would rather play Jay Spearing than Allen, that's how bad he is these days. Anyways, here IX to hoping Carroll stays and becomes the number 9 he was at Newcastle.

With the form Downing is in at the moment Carroll would be prefect.
Yeah has to go unfortunately, I'd det rid of Sturridge Allen and Borini too and get 2 top quality strikers.
PS don't be sending Suso to the championship, Better off if needs to go on loan then to a swansea or wigan. which I don't think he does need to, He's definetely ready for our first team

If reports in the mail about Lescott's availability at £4million are true I think it could be a shrewd acquisition for Liverpool if he is prepared to accept reasonable terms. I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal moved for the player as well. Just a thought.
