Sorry to spoil another hopeful rumour, but i have a lot of friends in Japanese media, one of which handles the national team press. Information is quite easy over there and the press have very wide access so Im confident that my information is correct..
Kagawa will not move in Jan as he is still happy at dortmund and still feels he can learn a lot yet. He also wishes to repay the faith shown to him, honour is a big part of Japanese culture. Maybe in summer but he will stay put in Jan.

The guy screwed his last club s-pulse out of a decent transfer fee because of a release clause so the honour thing is pretty irrelevant, I do not think he will come because he is doing well at Dortmund again and wont want to upset his place in the national side but the learn more and repay faith seems like a pretty standard comment to transfer speculation.

He didn't screw them over, the club agreed to that clause in the contact. Players can't just insert clauses on their own you know.

Admir Mehmedi is being watched by Liverpool scouts with an eye toward a potential move in January. Sunderland is also scouting the FC Zurich striker, according to the Daily Mail.
"The 20-year-old, who has scored 13 goals in 47 matches for Zurich, is one of Steve Bruce's winter targets but Liverpool have sent scouts to watch him already," the report reads.
Mehmedi is one of the most talented of a golden generation of Swiss soccer players. He has made five appearances for the Swiss national team at a young age.
The striker is in his fourth season as part of the FC Zurich first team and has appeared in both the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

I am happy to tell you that Adam Johnston is about to sign a new four year with Man City. So as i have said on here repeatedly he WILL NOT be moving to lfc as so many of you kept saying.

I do recall your post! I dont believe Mancini ever intended to get rid of him. Its how he handles his wayward players, he freezes them out a little to get a reaction. It seem to be bearing friut with Mario, but Tevez not so much! All the best.

Well thank god for that. Didn't want him at Anfield anyway. He can carry on sulking sat on the bench at City for the next four years now.
A few weeks ago when it was rumoured that you loserpool were intrested in the man city winger , you lot would have dropped to your knees and drunk Johnsons man fat ! now all of a sudden he signs a new improved contract , and you lot dont like it so you slag him off ! not a city fan btw ! but you the most deluded and fickle fans on the planet !
Not every lfc fan has the same opinion so not all like him but some do.. as for blue moon nearly there another 100mill or so should win it
Was there ever interest in Adam JohnsTon? I thought we were always interested in Adam Johnson. Anyway, it's nice to see Manchester City fans care so much about their players that they spell their names correctly. Admittedly, Liverpool fans adore Charlie Adams for some unknown reason.
Johnson is talented, but it sounds like he has attitude issues. He'll either succeed under Mancini, or he'll be shown the door; either way, I'm glad he isn't our problem - especially when we have the winger starting ahead of him for England.

Hi eds. Is there any chance of getting soitris ninis? He is out injured at the moment and heard it could be up to 4 months. Not 100% on if thats right or wrong but anyway he looks fantastic and could reach the heights of messi and ronaldo.

Ed what chance is there is boudebouz signing in jan? Some people saying it is really likely, i personally don't think he is good enough {Ed002's Note - Boudebouz has had a good season for Sochaux. St-Etienne wanted the player to replace Dmitri Payet and Marseille, Lyon and Newcastle showed some interest over the summer. There was previous interest from Spurs and Liverpool and certainly both made tentative enquiries. This latest news of Liverpool interest could of course be simply a recycled story from the summer, but it is not beyond the realms of possibility.}

Adam Johnson just signed new deal to 2015 that's him out of the showroom window!
Thats one less repetitive question for the Ed to answer.
A longer contract will make him more expensive to buy.

Hi eds, I just gotta ask you how come your'e always saying that there is no chance for us to sign lucas moura in january eventhough it's been sayed in every place that we lead the race for signing him? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea how you xpect this to be answered. Are your reports based on anything tangible - do the say Lucas Moura is the new Kaka - if they do they are confusing him with Lucas Piazon who also won't be joining Liverpool in January. I don't know what sort of answer you are looking for.}

they then say
"no"
then you ask
"why?" and start going mad at the eds because they have ruled out the signing

Maybe he just wants to know what reports or information is available to the Ed in order for him to say no. Seems pretty reasonable to me. {Ed001's Note - does it? Perhaps it would seem reasonable if we reveal the source of every bit of information we have so that we never get any again? A journalist contact of mine in France has suggested to me that Commolli is in talks over a possible move for Moussa Sissoko as an immediate replacement for Lucas due to his lack of positive influence on games. I'm guessing this means lack of goals and general attacking play. That's not to say Lucas is poor, just that Sissoko may be viewed as better. However, my friend didn't get much right in the summer so I don't know how valid this bit of info is!

I think there could be some truth to this but not replacing Lucas. It could be with a view to him becoming Gerrard's long term replacement.
Who cares were he will fit in, i hope this long drawn out rumour is true because the guy looks class, shame nothing came of it in the last window, fingers crossed though.

'A lack of positive influence'? I don't see how a positive influence has to be an attacking one. Lucas has the second highest tackles per game ratio in the premier league this season, second only to Scott Parker. It is this type of endevour as a DM that breaks up opposition play and allows us to form attacks in the first place. Moussa Sissoko may well be being looked at, but certainly not as a 'immediate replacement' for Lucas. Your French friend is talking le crap.

Podolski's future at Cologne has been the subject of much uncertainty over the last week, following the shock resignation of former club president Wolfgang Overath, whom is said to have enjoyed a good relationship with the player.
Added to the fact that Podolski was stripped of the club captaincy ahead of the season by coach Stale Solbakken, many believe the Germany international is ready to leave his boyhood club.
On Tuesday, Lazio were reportedly considering a move for the 26-year-old, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, and it now appears the player would consider such an offer, according to Schramm.

Honestly believe we need to be buy a couple more players with immediate talent. Henderson, Carroll etc will come good in a few years, but what's the use if we're not getting anywhere now. Don't want to bang on about us 'missing out' on players but look at Mata- everyone said he is not available, he won't leave blah blah blah, then what happens, oh, he moves to Chelsea. We really need a couple more top class players otherwise we're just going to perform like we did a few seasons ago- relying on 2 players to get us through. We have a first 11 capable of challenging for top 4 if they're all playing at the top of their game, but what's our squad depth like? Not that great if you ask me. Podolski would be a great addition, if not in Jan (looking unlikely) then we REALLY need to increase squad strength in the summer.

I'm not a Liverpool fan but I was talking to my sister in laws brother & he's a coach in feyenoord academy & was saying Liverpool made contact About 3 players they have 2 strikers but they were knocked the 3rd a midfielder called van Der struit could happen in summer but there's a lot of interest from other clubs as well,
He was also saying use are interested in labyad of psv & twente's ola john, make of it what u will just thought I'd pass it on

How would he be my brother in law, just noticed on post, have to admit made a mistake with spelling the kids name is Rick van Der struis not struit 15 yr old hence next summer apparently he's excellent passer & a big lad for his age.
The two strikers I couldnt even pronounce let alone spell there names ones an African kid the other dutch but they won't happen as there going to sign professional forms there all currently with feyenoord satelite team excelsior.
