Eds if balotelli and Benteke leaves in the summer do u see Liverpool buying a forward or do u think Klopp will go with Sturridge Origi Ings and firminho if we need him in that position.

{Ed002's Note - It would likely take one more to leave in addition to Sinclair and Benteke from the first team squad but Liverpool has looked at forwards as I have explained. I cannot see it as a priority.}

I think Benteke, Balotelli and Sinclair will leave along with Yesil. With Origi's recent progress, Firmino capable of playing up top, and with Ings to come back, I think we don't need another striker.

Forward is the sort of position where you probably have to always keep an eye on because a world class one will win you titles on their own and if one becomes available you have to move, even if it means selling one you planned on keeping. But I think the last 10 games or so have proven that we have no issues scoring - and that is without Ings.

Assuming that Benteke and Balotelli leave this summer, and if we make it to Europa/ Champions League then I would disagree. We definitely need a replacement for Benteke. Sturridge is still an injury risk and Origi and Ings are still not the finished article that will lead us to titles. I know Firmino is seen by Klopp as a striker, but he's not the finisher we need leading the line, even though he's done very well this season while filling in for injuries. A strike force of Lacazette, Sturridge, Origi and Ings would put the fear of God into any opposing team. And if we get a fourth striker, then there clearly is no need for the overrated Gotze!

{Ed002's Note - Balotelli is nothing to do with the matter at all. If Liverpool are going to have five strikers they will need to change the way they play. You cannot keep adding players to a vastly bloated squad.}

If any of the EDD'S are around, have LFC shown any interest in SOFIANE BOUFAL, a class act and nice hat-trick from him yesterday. any views.

Believable0 Unbelievable22

{Ed002's Note - Although Sofiane Boufal only moved to Lille in January 2015, bids from Spurs and probably Manchester City are expected in 2016. PSG and Monaco have both had the player watched regularly and PSG and Chelsea have spoken with Lille to see if some sort of deal may be possible. Roma, Inter, Dortmund, Valencia, Arsenal, Manchester United and Lyon have also had the player watched this season. He will leave in the summer and the sustained interest has been from Spurs.}

Papers are linking us to Theo Walcott again. I really hope that this is a rehash of an old link. can't see why we would waste money on someone who is so injury prone and has little in the way of end product when there are far more talented players around for the same money and less wages.

Agree 110%. Both have the potential to be far better than him.

And they both seem to be less injury prone than Walcott at this moment in time. That can obviously change but still.

To be fair being less injury prone than Walcott isn't difficult.

We'll always be linked to him because he's a known Liverpool fan. He could have been a really good player without the injuries but we don't need more injury prone players.

Recycled rubbish from three years ago. He's not good enough and we don't need him.
