What's the situation with neymar {Ed001's Note - no idea.}

According to balague on tv tonight he told sky barca and Madrid both in Santos negouating, barca trying to convince him he can play with messi and get game time. They hold all cards having already paid 10 million e last year as a deposit.

The situation is that he won't be coming to Liverpool.

Eds, do you think Liverpool could move for Julio Cesar if Pepe moves to Barca? {Ed001's Note - I don't know, he certainly is an attainable possibility, but I don't know if we have shown any interest.}

I think going for Julio Cesar as well as a younger GK like Kevin Trapp or Fabian Giefer would be the wise thing to do.

kind of similar to how Barcelona want Pepe so that they give Ter Stegen time to develop and get ready for the best level.

If we sell Reina and bring in a Mignolet or Begovic as replacement, I think it would be really shrewd to get Cesar in too (depending on wages). Think he would be an excellent safety net in case the other GK doesn't quite step up or has a shakey start to his LFC career. Bit like Utd did with Lindegaard and De Gea

Wow expectations from some fans is really below par. I mean Mingolet or Begavic, it's no coincidence we finished where we did. q

Begovic is an excellent keeper, arguable the best in the league. Mignolet is not particularly good, the only thing he is good at is shot stopping.

With Reina looking to leave is there a chance we could move for Victor Valdes?he is leaving barca for cheap or free I'm not sure? Would be a good replacement! Who's in for him eds?

He is a poor keeper

Yup, a poor keeper would have won all those trophies etc. {Ed001's Note - to be fair, it is not because of Valdes that Barca have won anything, they might have won more with a decent keeper between the sticks. I have to agree, he is not good enough.}

Valdes is not a good keeper, he gets Barcelona into all sorts of trouble because he thinks he has the foot skills of Messi. Reminds me of a Bartez.

Love to see that happen but it is not likely. Real Madrid are looking to sell Iker Casillas and so he would probably be the best player in the legue should Casillas move abroad. I would give anything to have him wearing a red shirt.

Just thought I would say I'm privileged to have seen carragher in my lifetime and that he is and will always be mr Liverpool to me ynwa

Hi Ed's are you suggesting we might try and get Marc Andre ter Stegen? Aidan {Ed002's Note - No. Why not read what was posted, it is perfectly clear.}

To be fair, I think that I shared the poster's confusion. Anyway, having checked Ed002's previous responses, this is what s/he has previously said regarding the matter:

'Barcelona would like to have ter Stegen as their long term solution but feel he is not ready just yet. So they are looking to other options'.

If ED002 about? What do Chelsea plan on doing with courtouis next season? Any chance a loan on the cards at lfc? Get him used to 'physical' side of prem. if not who you think will be between sticks at lfc next season?
Many thanks bud {Ed002's Note - Courtois will likely have one more season on loan. The destination is undecided at this time but he would prefer to stay where he is for next season.}
