With Macca 95% sure Reina will leave, is there a possibility that Igor Akinfeev may be of interest? I remember him being linked with us a few years ago.

Wishful thinking as he would cost most of BR's budget. Very much doubt he will be coming. Nice thought though, he would be great replacement for Reina.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ins :
Mignolet
Eriksen
Rose
Diame
Ilori
Grosskruetz
Williams
Long

Outs:
Reina
Coates
Spearing
Shelvey
Pacheco
Wilson
Carroll
Assaidi

This Improves our squad 10 fold and IMO is achievable apart from Reina the guy is class the rest are better than what we've got.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes rubbish well overrated he got left out the team last season for months,

Hi eds,
What's the situation with neymar {Ed001's Note - no idea.}

Believable2 Unbelievable36

According to balague on tv tonight he told sky barca and Madrid both in Santos negouating, barca trying to convince him he can play with messi and get game time. They hold all cards having already paid 10 million e last year as a deposit.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares?!

Agree0 Disagree0

There isn't one

Agree0 Disagree0

He will go madrid, but why should lfc fans care

Agree0 Disagree0

The situation is that he won't be coming to Liverpool.

Are we looking at Handanovic? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Eds, do you think Liverpool could move for Julio Cesar if Pepe moves to Barca? {Ed001's Note - I don't know, he certainly is an attainable possibility, but I don't know if we have shown any interest.}

Believable13 Unbelievable48

I think going for Julio Cesar as well as a younger GK like Kevin Trapp or Fabian Giefer would be the wise thing to do.

kind of similar to how Barcelona want Pepe so that they give Ter Stegen time to develop and get ready for the best level.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we sell Reina and bring in a Mignolet or Begovic as replacement, I think it would be really shrewd to get Cesar in too (depending on wages). Think he would be an excellent safety net in case the other GK doesn't quite step up or has a shakey start to his LFC career. Bit like Utd did with Lindegaard and De Gea

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be sooo gutted to lose pepe and get that clown. It has to be mignolet or begovic

Agree0 Disagree0

Has to be a class young keeper, End of!. Either Stegen, Leno or Kapinos!. Btw Ed's, just asking, but can we put in a sort of clauze in Reina's deal that says Barca back away from Ter Stegen?. {Ed052's Note - that wouldn't happen}

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal are keen on Cesar.

I see Swansea keeper might be worth the shout (VORM)?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow expectations from some fans is really below par. I mean Mingolet or Begavic, it's no coincidence we finished where we did. q

Agree0 Disagree0

Begovic is an excellent keeper, arguable the best in the league. Mignolet is not particularly good, the only thing he is good at is shot stopping.

The real AG

Agree0 Disagree0

We won't be singing cesar he's about 33-34 isn't he, would only get about 2 seasons out of him, we need some young but not young 21-26 years old,

intitiwetrust

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather Begovic. Complete keeper and some of the stops he pulls off are insane.

Hi,

Was wondering if you have any information on players that will be going out of Anfield. Also what positions do you think we will looking at for transfers. Also any signings that you think Liverpool are looking at?

With Reina looking to leave is there a chance we could move for Victor Valdes?he is leaving barca for cheap or free I'm not sure? Would be a good replacement! Who's in for him eds?

Alves {Ed002's Note - Monaco has an interest in him. Perhaps a London club as well.}

Believable5 Unbelievable53

He is a poor keeper

Agree0 Disagree0

Yup, a poor keeper would have won all those trophies etc. {Ed001's Note - to be fair, it is not because of Valdes that Barca have won anything, they might have won more with a decent keeper between the sticks. I have to agree, he is not good enough.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Valdes is not a good keeper, he gets Barcelona into all sorts of trouble because he thinks he has the foot skills of Messi. Reminds me of a Bartez.

Agree0 Disagree0

Love to see that happen but it is not likely. Real Madrid are looking to sell Iker Casillas and so he would probably be the best player in the legue should Casillas move abroad. I would give anything to have him wearing a red shirt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just thought I would say I'm privileged to have seen carragher in my lifetime and that he is and will always be mr Liverpool to me ynwa

Agree0 Disagree0

He is absolutely the best keeper 1 o 1, statistically

Hi ed2 in the past you say we have enquired about Begovic and the price set is too high. Does that still remain the situation and is Mignolet a more affordable option? {Ed002's Note - It is the situation as I understand it to be right now - but perhaps the club will revisit Begovic again as his move to Manchester United looks less likely now.}

Hi Ed's are you suggesting we might try and get Marc Andre ter Stegen? Aidan {Ed002's Note - No. Why not read what was posted, it is perfectly clear.}

Believable35 Unbelievable6

To be fair, I think that I shared the poster's confusion. Anyway, having checked Ed002's previous responses, this is what s/he has previously said regarding the matter:

'Barcelona would like to have ter Stegen as their long term solution but feel he is not ready just yet. So they are looking to other options'.

Have AS MONACO enqiured about Andy Caroll? {Ed002's Note - I don't know.}

Apparently so. let's not get too excited yet but if it does hopefully we will get more than West Ham are prepared to offer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Monaco will pay the full asking price. let's then go for Benteke!

Agree0 Disagree0

Replace one donkey with another? BR doesn't want a big physical forward, he wants technically gifted nippy players, I think that's evident with Coutinho, Allen, Borini and Sturridge. They're all technically good, small and nippy little ankle biters, he's trying to build a team like Barcelona by the looks of it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bentekes got decent feet for a big guy he's similar mould to Lukaku and I'm sure we'd jump on him if he was available. Belgians got a lot of really good kids coming through and while he's still a one season wonder at this point I can see him becoming a consistent 15+ pl goal forward.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love to see VIKTOR FISCHER

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridge may not be a lumbering beast but he's 6ft, hardly small!

If ED002 about? What do Chelsea plan on doing with courtouis next season? Any chance a loan on the cards at lfc? Get him used to 'physical' side of prem. if not who you think will be between sticks at lfc next season?
Many thanks bud {Ed002's Note - Courtois will likely have one more season on loan. The destination is undecided at this time but he would prefer to stay where he is for next season.}
