Eds what is the story with these Llorente rumours? Smells like bs to increase his price for other clubs. I find it strange that we would let a £35 target man who holds the ball up & is good in the air leave on loan & then buy an older Spanish target man who holds the ball up & is good in the air. Makes no sense to me. {Ed002's Note - I don't know what you are referring to. The search function will provide what we know of Llorente and who has interest.}

Who did we buy for £35?

Sounds like a bargain to me!

Carroll has no first touch and can't control the ball llorente can that is the difference. Still can't see him coming to us tho

Llorente is just like Carroll

Someoe wh talks sense! we have needed carroll in every game this season.

Make this easier llorente is a top striker were as carroll is a flop....llorente and mario gomez are the best of the best were carroll is a amatuer.....would u replace reina with brad jones no u wouldnt there both goalkeepers but theres a big class difference same goes to llorente and carroll

Eds have you watched Alain Traore much? from what iv seen this season he looks a great young player. Do you rate him? {Ed002's Note - I know little of him aside from he has been playing at the lower end of the French game.}

Scored some crackers this weekend.

Evening eds and fellow reds...

Please can eds002 answer this question for me

Live just read on caught offside that lfc could move for huntelaar, since we're in desperate need of a striker, and him being quite cheap with only 1 more year left on his current, and with him saying that he is no rush to sign a new contract, do you think that lfc have a chance in signing him in January

Cheers, Jack {Ed002's Note - The situation with Huntelaar remains very much the same Jack, the disagreement surrounds the length of contract that is on offer. Schalke had said that he would be sold if he did not sign a new deal before the last week of the transfer window but seemingly neither party wanted that. There was interest from Zenit but that came to nothing. There is still interest from AC Milan and, particularly, Juventus so a move in January is not totally out of the question. As it stands right now, I would suspect he will sign a one year extension or move to Juve.}

We don't have any money as proved in the summer.

What makes anyone think we will sign a striker based on the current owners ambitions?

It's all down to Brenden to get the best out of the little we have and given time we will be ok but not a CL club for many years under the current owners.
