Well I have a friend, who's friend's friend has a friend, who knows a guy that has a cousin and that cousin's great grandfather's niece had a boyfriend who knows some people but I have no idea if they have any connection to the club. Hi, are you aware of any interest from Liverpool in any players from the Brazilian league, I bet we could easily pick up a few hidden gems for next to nothing also what happened to the young American brek Shea, were Liverpool ever interested in him. Gylfi will sign for Spurs in the coming days with Liverpool not prepared to match the players' wage demands. Spurs set to lose Modric and see him as an adequate replacement. Victor Moses is seriously being considered to add a bit of pace to the attack but Rogers may opt for Vargas for the left hand side. That puts a question mark over Downing's future. Ramirez is a player that was watched a few times last season but eill be £20 million at least. Source: Alan Kennedy who also said he expects both Suarez and Carroll to stay.

I am confident Sigurdsson would still come to us. I don't believe Villas Boas would want him for a second. Definitely his agent talking money and Sigurdsson wants whats best for himself financially and on footballing terms.......

A bit of honesty please. With a summer of transfers ahead of us and the obvious knowledge and contacts that you all have, can you actually ever confirm a rumour before an official release? It must put you in a difficult position when you're unable to divulge sensitive information yet we all expect you to.
With that in mind, should we not rely upon any information relating to LFC given by yourselves because you would never prejudice the position of the club?
Just wondering.

For some clubs if asked not to say anything for one reason or another that will be honoured. Aside from that most information is in the "fair game" category. In respect of players from abroad, information will come from several sources (e.g. clubs, club staff, agents and scouts. For EPL sides it is slightly different (and true to most clubs including Liverpool) in that the press office and the club will generally avoid discussing targets because of this overplayed "closed doors" concept and fear of the FA or another club taking exception to it. The FA churn out letters of warning at a pretty amazing rate. However, it does remain that agents will often talk to journalists they have a relationship with and many scouts are less than secure sources. Elsewhere, you could buy the two Liverpool South American scoutrs a decent dinner in somewhere and they might spill the beans. Or you could dump your wife and marry the woman who will own the business handling the PR for a major French sides. Then their is the seedy side of the business. Somewhere in Liverpool there is no doubt the AJ Weberman of football. Last resort is Twitter and Facebook. Honest enough?}

Good post, good Answer. I'd like to think when he said. The "contacts you all have" he meant us as well. This site is for all the bits of information someone might or might not have. From reading all the post every day you learn which ones are BS and which ones are not. So in my drunken stat what I'm trying to say is don't stop posting I want to read it, and if you have a question read all the post first because most things have all ready been asked at least 5 times. Please post eds, I only ever put rumours On about Adam Johnson as it's the only info I know, after city won league he was buzzing thinking about staying and fighting for more game time, however the call off Roy hodgson advising him he had not mate England squad changed all that, he was devastated and now thinks he needs to leave city for game time and if a cut in wages is what it takes them so be it. Harry redknapp was a huge admire and contacted him regualy regarding a move to spurs, obviously that situation has changed, I know he would like to join Liverpool but Sunderland are the ones showing interest I have no clue of Liverpool have/will. He is meeting with city this week to discuss future so I would imagine in the next 2 weeks his situation will be clear. I've posted about Adam before and been spot on in saying he wouldn't leave city.

Recieved some info from a source of mine, we are genuinely considering formal bids for Victor Moses and Adam Johnson, although we won't be willing to pay stupid money for either.
Sigurdsson deal could swing either way and we will find out who he is signing for over the coming days (as we all know)
If bids for Moses/Johnson fail or are not pursued I believe we're also keen on Tello.
I'm not sure whether I'm keen on Moses personally, and would love us to sign Sigurdsson and Johnson.

With Torinos recent promotion and potential for financial gain in Turin, i would say NO! they will not sell him, they'd be crazy to do so, and believe it or not, they can afford to keep him. I have had a tip off that LFC are really serious about a guy called Danny Ings of Burney (never heard of him myself) but I understand he is a hot prospect.

Having watched him at afcbournemouth I think he has found his level. But one thing I will say is that lfc did once have a look at him couple of years ago but I think he is to light weight
Ingz used to play for Bournemouth and we were reportedly interested in him back then. I doubt we will make a move for him because his impact in the championship has been minor.

Actually - I agree with Blair.
There seem to be more people cutting and pasting from other sites, than people providing information. I'd like to see some rumours, not a reprint of BBC, Soccernet, Twitter etc.
A couple of things to say.
To Blair, Twitter does have accurate info on it (sometimes) It's just a case of taking it with a pinch of salt. If you look back at the first sniff of Spurs being interested in Sig, it came from Twitter and that turned out to be spot on.
Also to people moaning about other people cutting & pasting from other websites, I thought the whole point of this site was to post RUMOURS i.e. stories on the football clubs that we support & love, So why does anyone care where the rumours start as long as we share them on this great site that we all read daily. 99% of us do not have any inside info what so ever, that's why we visit ylthe site.

Liverpool are reported to have pipped Chelsea to the signing of Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic after agreeing a £22m fee.
Chelsea appeared to be in the box seat to land the 22-year-old as Roberto Di Matteo looks to sign a top quality striker this summer but reports coming from Italy claim Liverpool have nipped in to agree a deal.
Fiorentina are willing to let the striker go at the right price and while Chelsea have been haggling over the fee, Liverpool have come in and matched the valuation straight away.
It was thought that Fiorentina would hold out for £25million but it looks as though they have accepted slightly less and the player could be heading to Anfield.
Chelsea will still have a chance to match that offer and then it will be down to the player to decide where he will be playing his football next season.
Would be a good buy if it was true, although I do think Chelsea would certainly match our offer if it is true.
Italian clubs are currently in financial trouble, so is believable they would sell for that.

Manchester United and Barcelona both showed interest in Gaitan but Inter PSG or Napoli may be the first to eventually put an offer on the table for Gaitan. My understanding is that Manchester United and PSG did speak with Benfica in January but no bid was made. I understand that it remains the case that no firm bid has been made but Benfica are aware of sustained interest and are aware that Inter Milan are now looking at the player. Asking price is and will continue to be an issue. If Manchester United can agree a price I am told that the player would welcome the move. They have had an offer accepted however Tottenham have offered him near 70K a week wages. Liverpool were thinking nearer 45K as he was only on 23K last year on loan at swansea with swansea only paying 40% of that wage. Tottenham willing to pay that on wages as Modric and Van der Vaart are looking for moves. Also Adebayour has gone back to man city reducing their wage bill aswell.

Rangers and liverpool fan here, Davis is not good enough for Liverpool and the rumours are that he's actually going to Southampton.
