Sorry Dave but I totally disagree.
You aren't improving on our youngsters and you're clogging up wages with useless tripe. he's awful and signing awful just because they're free doesn't make them any less awful!
Agree0

I love the people who are saying he's awful because in the premiership this season, he has the same goals per game ratio as Torres. And is way better in goals per minutes on field.
And there are still people who want to see Torres back.

A centre forward who doesn't score goals, sounds like the new Torres, let him go to Chelsea lol

Hey eds do you know if there anything in the Montoya rumours at first I didn't think much of it but apparently he can cover left back so would make sense if we were considering. {Ed002's Note - I don't know if there is anything in it. Certainly Inter discussed him when they were talking to Barcelona over another player - but that is all I am aware of being confirmed.}

Eds, not necessarily Liverpool related, but which all clubs have shown interest in Sessegnon?
Cheers {Ed002's Note - No one right now.}

hey ED'S
everyone talking about christian eriksen, ashley williams, alex pearce, Remy, alonso, diakiti, cabaye, ben arfa, montoya, sanchez, huntelaar, jackson martinez,
all I want to know please, is which ones do you really think we have a chance on and the ones we havent. I really want to know like every other lfc fan does and it be great if you could tell us if we do have a chance signing any of these players or other people I haven't said about? it be great if you could get back.
cheers, thanks
YNWA {Ed002's Note - Where there is interest we know of I would have said - try the search function.}

Probably pearce and williams would be the only two that would want to sign?

The newcastle players are a real possibility because they may be relegated. Top players will not come as long as there is no CL football. Simples.
Its keeping those we have without CL football that is the problem.

Suarez will sign another extention to his contract in the summer, he will be here for a very long time, as long as the club wants him here.
We are working on Christian Eriksen, I am told we will have hin wrapped up by transfer window opening day.
Ashley williams is one of our number 1 targets.

Williams is one of our main targets but the eriksen deal is off, Liverpool pulled out for some reason, not sure was it because of wage demands or interest from elsewhere.

One of our number 1 targets? I would assume there would be only one number 1 target and then possibly a number 2 target, and so on.

After watching Dortmund beat Real, Hummels would look great in defence with Agger.

Hope so mate :)

Why would Hummels move from a team who is winning titles and trophies and in the CL final. only to move to a team who cannot compete in its own league let alone even make it to the CL?
Agree0

Eriksen was never on! As for hummels or any other top player! WHY would you want to move to anfield?

Liverpool is a class team who can bring in class players when they want. Also if this jnew sponser deal goes through we will have a lot of money to spend on a ton of good players!

Borossia Dortmund players, unless they are over the hill will never move to a club outside the CL.
Btw, DP9: Suarez is a lot of things and ''over the hill '' ain't one of them.
Food for thought and just sayin like:)

@darsco
There is a group of targets that are 'number 1 target'. We will need to sign 2 centre backs, possibly three. We have scouted over 10 since the start of the season- williams is well known by Brendan and will be up for the move- thus driving the price down.
With sales we are looking at spending £50m, more if pepe decides to move on, even though the club are confident he will stay
DB9
Agree0

That "£50 million" will include signing on fees and agents fees, so expect no more than £25 million to £30 million to be spent on actual transfer fees.
Might be more if we sell Suarez. Looks like he will go to Bayern for about £30 million - paid over 4-5 years
Agree0
Disagree0
We won't get that much for Luis Suarez. Get real. Clubs know he is damaged property. No more than 20 mil cash but agree paid in installments
Agree0
Disagree0
Dpending on the money and what pep wants, i'm hearing muller may leave bayern. I think if Liverpool can get him that would be a coup, I'd happily sell suarez for him and keep some money in the kitty, maybe help pay for another winger and defender?
Agree0
Disagree0
The owners won't take a loss on suarez. Defo more than 20m.
Agree0
Disagree0
Suarez is worth no more than 20m? Haha we bought him for over 20m after a similar incident and he's got better, do you really think his price has gone down because of this? No club contemplating a move for him gives a tosh what he's done
Agree0
Disagree0
Naive.
Clubs might not give a "tosh" what he has done but they know what he has done will drive the price down.
£20 million tops. The owners will take a loss simply to get rid of him
Agree0
Disagree0
Naive would be thinking FSG take the moral high ground and sell one of their main assets at a loss. clearly no concept of the "bigger picture".
