People who claim to have Madrid contacts are making me laugh, if you had any contact there you would know they will sign Aquero.Higuain looks likely to leave maybe in a swap deal plus cash.We won, t sign anyone from Madrid, instead we, ll sign Baines.Kenny and leighton have business interests in town and have alledgedly been looking for this for a while.We, ll also look at a valencia player this week but not mata.

Liverpool are close to reaching a successful conclusion to negotiations with Mexican starlet Marco Bueno, according to teenager's current club.
If Bueno, who has been compared to Manchester United's Javier Hernandez, impresses during his time with Liverpool, the Premier League club are said to be ready to offer a five-year contract.
And Bueno's current employers, Pachuca, claim that Liverpool are determined to complete the deal this summer.
Pachuca vice-president Andres Fassi is quoted as saying: "We are conducting negotiations with Liverpool and possibly, on August 1, Marco Bueno will pay a visit to Liverpool.
"We have already practically closed negotiations with them. They want to buy 100 per cent of the rights."

Maybe so but I did say that I was told perez was HOPING he would wait it out at atletico till jan. They don't consider aguero essential right now and are focussing their efforts toward neymar whom ronaldo (brazillian) believes has more market potential. Though in my opinion he is a little misguided on that thought.

Ed, what sort of fee is involved in Aqualanis move to Fiorentina and would Liverpool have agreed to this fee or is this still to be discussed. {Ed002's Note - Liverpool were previously looking for 10M euros - around £8M having turned down an offer of 7M euros. The sticking point is wages, not transfer fee.}

Newcastle have proposed a sensational player-plus-cash deal with Liverpool that would see Alberto Aquilani exchanged for Jose Enrique.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew is ready to offload Enrique having grown frustrated with the defender's failure to commit to the club as he enters the final 12 months of his contract.
Liverpool are long-term admirers of the defender but have baulked at Newcastle's £15m asking price, as transfer negotiations continue.
Newcastle risk losing the defender for nothing next summer and have instead demanded a £5m cash offer plus Reds misfit Aquilani as part of any deal.

Hi ed just wondering if youve heard anything about sakho ? whats the situation with him , we must still be in the market for another cb after trying to hijack savic from man city. left back seems to be the words on most peoples lips at the min and another wingers maybe a striker too but looking at are left backs

lso maybe we should consider an exchange of Aquilani for Jovetic from Fiorentina he's class. Guessing one's Fiorentina he's class. Guessing one's about Varga's have already been muted by various people

Fiorentina are willing entertain offers of around 6m for jovetic and are desperately hoping nobody notices his acute tendonitis in his knees which keeps causing his injuries ( samr thing hargreaves has).
He would be a big gamble in my opinion as if the slow and spacey italian league gives him issues I seriously doubt his knees would take prem.

Word from my source in the madrid camp is they don't plan on bidding for him this summer, perez actually keeping his word for once. They're hoping he will stay there till january at which point they will look at it again. Mourinho is not said to be overly keen though as he prefers his strikers to track back more.

It seems that Aquilani's days are numbered and that only the wage issue needs to be resolved and he will go back to Italy.
Can you confirm if Fiorentina are serious about getiing him of our wage bill?
I believe he is on 70k a week.

Heard that citeh have come out and said unless they get rid of tevez there not bidding for aguero? and seen as it looks like madrid are going after neymar, who else are interested? chelski and juve? he already spoke of his desire to play in England or spain so that cud leave us if there's any interest and chelski? so i wouldn't entirely say we have NO chance of signing him but we'll have to see. hopefully Henry splashes the cash :D

Eds....have i missed something or am i just being stupid? Enrique won't come for whatever reason.... Cissoko seems to have a valuation that we are not going to match.....so what happened to our enquiries on Lyon's Michel Bastos. Now i know we signed Downing but this guy plays at LB for Brazil (which is where are big problem is at the minute) can also play LM (cover for Downing) and is also VERY capable playing RB and RM. Will cost about £12M (in our price range) and wants to play in the EPL. So why have we not gone in for him? Your thoughts? {Ed002's Note - Enrique seemed to be holding out for an offer from Arsenal but could well move if Liverpool make an improved offer. Cissokho was a massive red herring that I spent most of the past 5 days explaining. The Liverpool bid for Bastos was immediately rejected and Bastos gave an interview saying that he could only see a future in Turin - and the following day gave an interview about what a nifty place London would be to live. Regardless, he has no interest in moving to Liverpool and that is accepted. At present the priority is dealing with the fringe players.}

Juventus to step on their intrest in either raul or aquaman as melo confirmed he will be leaving this summer and them needing to find a replacement . Think we should do some sort of swap deal with Meireles + £5m for Alonso. I'm safe to say 99.9% of us MIGHTY REDS wud love to see this happen. And have Aqua + Lucas as back-up to Alonso and Gerrard in the middle of the park. We still need a LB and a RW. All other position are covered.

Liverpool look set to miss out on Scott Dann as Chelsea's new Boss AVB has asked his agent for tapes of his games at Birmingham. I believe this is common practice when clubs are looking at buying. Although Stoke are still favourite to land him. I'm sure if we put in an offer we'd get the player, but at the moment he is being priced out the market by Birmingham City. What you reckon ed's? We're not interested in Cissokho, fabrication by his agent, good player but terrible attitude, Lloris (Lyons GK) once said he sh*ts on the Lyon shirt the way he acts.
Highly doubt Gerrard will be sold as he's worth more to the club than a now small transfer fee.

He played fantastically at the Under-17 World Cup, which Mexico won, and could be a very good signing. Do not expect him to be "our Chicharito" though, I doubt he will be ready for much first team football during year one.}

Between Aly Cissokho and Enrique which one is likely to join LFC? Lyon might want 12-15M for Cissokho. Enrique want to play for CL team.
What about other possible targets like Kadlec, Ansaldi, Bastos..

My sources tell me the Aguero deal seems to be at a stand-still. However, late word coming out of Man City is that Corinthians have failed to agree a transfer fee.
I don't think we have a shot in hell but my source within the club say's that we have placed an aggresive bid on Aguero. Damien Comolli and Kenny Dalglish are keen on the Argentine.

It was a big shock to most of us when Fernando Torres was sold to Chelsea, and it will be an even bigger shock when Steven Gerrard is sold this transfer window. This is why there has been so much activity in the midfield; it is by no means certain that Gerrard will be playing there next season. Look out for a move to Real Madrid.

Liverpool have invited Mexican striker Marco Bueno over for a 10-day trial and are in talks over a potential five-year deal for the 17-year-old.
The Pachuca striker won the Under 17 World Cup with Mexico earlier this month.
