Hi ed would you answer this for me please, have liverpool bid £35m for alexis sanchez in the last 48 hours? And why have all these kun aguero rumours started again twitter is nutz for it. Thanks please post in rumours {Ed002's Note - There has been no bid by Liverpool for Sanchez at all. This is and old rumour. I have no idea why anything has started on Twitter.}

Where have these aguero rumours come from ed? any reliable sources? i know hes a fantastic player but would he really be what were looking for up front? surely with carroll up front we'd want someone a bit stronger, for example , Hulk. what do you think? {Ed002's Note - I agree, but Twitter causes almost orgasmic excitement for some.}

21 Apr 2011 20:14:34
Ed.it's all over twitter that marca in spain said aguero is going to be lfc marque signing in the summer, tony barrett is also involved in the discussion on twitter.do u think it is possible?

{Ed002's Note - It is possible although very unlikely in my view.}

I heard LFC are very close to reaching an agreement with ashley young is it true?

21 Apr 2011 19:07:39
I heard Harry "right a tenner for the pair, AND I'll throw in a Julio Iglesias CD for free" Redknapp is looking for Micah Richards,

Ed is he a target for KK ? {Ed002's Note - He may be but I suspect Richards will be looking for a move abroad.}

Just being reading King Kenny's comments regarding Aquilani. I have read that Aquilani wasn't that happy in England but I wonder if Kenny is trying to keep his transfer value up with Juventus not willing to pay the fee. Ed, do you think Kenny take the player back?

{Ed002's Note - If they are unable to unload the player then they are stuck with him. I suspect a deal will be struch that sees him stay at Juventus. His agents were instructed to look for alternatives in January as Liverpool are aware how unhappy he was and that he really does not want to return. One area of negotiation is the agent fees that are due. Once he goes and the remaining 5M euro paid off, then I think everyone will be happy. There is also a little negotiating to do with Roma about additional payments but I am told that they should not prove to be an issue.}

21 Apr 2011 17:10:41
Are we still watching Porto now? If so then I'd imagine we won't be after Hulk, sadly. I feel he has all the abilites for the premeir league. {Ed001's Note - yes and yes we are.}

Ed001's, does that mean we are looking at spending another £20mil+ on another striker?

{Ed002's Note - There is undoubtedly interest from a number of clubs, including Liverpool, in Hulk. From that you can glean that the club are certainly still in the market for another striker.}

Alright guys, heard very strong rumours about Cissokho from Lyon. I think he would be a fantastic addition to the team, really good work rate and regards Liverpool as a "dream club". I think the press have picked up on this one as well. How do you rate him ed?

He also rates all the other top clubs in England as "dream clubs"

Re, LFC INSIDER, re aaron lennon, sorry fella but you need to do your research on the player! as to why his reps were at the game app they were looking at a player who has asked to be represented by them!

Sorry mate, didn't know that, just suggesting it, hence the question mark. But I do know 100% that Dzsudzsak and Young are close, but things can change.

Bench: Gulacsi, Kelly, Robinson, Lucas, Meireles, Payet, Carroll.

Kuyt, N'Gog, Amoo, Morgan, Ecclestone, Pacheco, Silva, Sterling, Ince, Cole(last chance), Spearing, Shelvey, Suso, Coady, Flannagan, Wisdom, Skrtel, Wilson, Sama, Ayala, Mavinga, Hansen, Bouzanis.

8 Homegrown players include: Johnson, Carragher, Gerrard, Young, Kelly, Carroll, Cole, Spearing.

25 man listed EPL Squad: Reina, Sakho, Armero, Alonso, Defour, Suarez, Hulk, Kuyt, N'Gog, Pacheco, Ayala, Skrtel, Gulacsi. (13 foreign + the 8 homegrown = 21, leaving room for additions in January if the season is going wrong)

Signings:
Sakho - £15m
Armero - £7m
Alonso - £15m
Defour - £12m
Young - £18m
Hulk - £23m
Payet - £10m
Total=£100m

Sale of Deadwood squad Fillers.
Jones - £500k
Darby - Free
Konchsky - £1m
Insua - Free
Kyriakgos - Free
Aurelio - Free
Agger - £8m (too injury prone for the clubs plans)
Degen - £500k
El Zhar - £1m
Aquilani - £10m
Poulsen - £1m
Maxi - £2m
Jovanovic - £4m
Total=£28m for 13 players.

Net Spend will therefore be around £72m

This squad will put the Pool back on the map. If you doubt the £100m, don't. Liverpools owners were willing to spend £60m in January on Suarez, Benzema, Adam and Micah Richards (3 of which were rejected). Carroll was a knee jerk reaction to the sale of Torres. They ended up spending £1.3m net. Not much to be quite honest. Which is why the money they planned to spend in January will be added to the Summer Budget.

This is my most reliable source yet. I pray they're not wrong. Got this E-mailed to me this morning.

YNWA! (Adam)

P.s. Don't normally post rumours, but i felt inclined to pass this on. It is just a rumour from a source though. Don't shoot the messenger,

Strong rumours about KaKa leaving Real Madrid. Apparently he might be interested in coming to Liverpool, but will mostly not come due to his high wage demands as well as the fact that he is too old for FSG's youth policy. Doubt Real would let him go anyway.

Ive heard that Aguero is our top summer marquee signing in this transfer window (third year lucky, lol). It would certainly show the whole world that we mean business.
Kenny wants four top strikers:
Strike force = ( Suarez Carrol Aguero Kuyt )
And Liverpool some how have first refusal on him. And he only has £30,000,000 buy out clause.
For those people doutbting; he would accept a wage cut; and CL is not his top priority; He supports lfc; Theres a big south american presence at the club (maxi, lucas, suarez, aurelio, bruna; One of which hes best mates with (maxi) who hes has visited in the city numerous times.
KEEP THE FAITH.

Liverpool Outs;

Brad Jones
Phillipp Degen
Sotirios Kyrgiakos
Emiliano Insua
Christian Poulsen
Alberto Aquilani
Maxi Rodriguez
David Ngog

No one knows who Liverpool are going to sign this summer. Everyone on this brilliant site can speculate and so can the media but the truth is that no one, other than Kenny and Comolli, know who they are targeting as potential signings. People are talking about Liverpool signing half a team but are people forgetting the homegrown player quota? What we do know is that Liverpool will be targeting a couple of defenders, a few wingers, and a striker.

Kenny spoke to the media today and mentioned Aquilani and a possibility of staying. I understand that Liverpool and Juventus agreed a permanent fee of around £12m should Juventus decide to sign him permanently but Juve are hoping to convince Liverpool to lower their fee to around £10m. Whatever fee Juventus pay Liverpool for Aquilani if they push through a transfer you have to take £5m off that price as Liverpool still owe Roma £5m for his signing. So to put it simply, if Liverpool sell him for £10m, they will only get £5m as the remaining £5m goes to Roma. This is why Liverpool do not want to budge from the agreed fee. If Juve do not cough up, he will return and Liverpool will not pursue a central midfielder.

I reported earlier in the week that Hugo Lloris is the number one goalkeeper target should Pepe Reina leave after Comolli went on a scouting mission to the recent PSG V Lyon game. My post was posted on the Banter page and I said this way before any of the media got hold of it so that proves I do have quite a reliable source within the club.
Now I am being told that Reina is looking more likely to stay at the club after talks with Dalglish about what is going to happen in the Summer. There is still the possibility he could move on though. Lloris will be pursued should he leave, but after Manuel Neuer's confession about leaving Schalke 04 yesterday, he could become a target cost dependent on himself and Lloris.

Dalglish will not be signing a permanent contract until the end of the season. He will sign a 3 year contract along with Steve Clarke and Sammy Lee as Dalglish is eager for the management team to remain.

More news when I get it.

LFC reps met Balazs Dzsudzsak earlier this week, following a bid of 12.5m being accepted by PSV Eindhoven. Kenny wants two more wingers after this deal, as Maxi, Cole and Jova will all leave. They are very close to agreeing terms with Ashley Young, who will arrive for around 12m. It was initially going to be Marveaux as the 3rd winger but after seeing Agger and Aurelio getting injured every other game, DC pulled the plug which is sensible. A lot of names are being banded about, as there is no foregone conclusion as to who they will move for. Adam Johnson, Eljero Elia, Dimitri Payet, Stewart Downing, Willian, Matt Jarvis, Fabio Coentrao, Aaron Lennon have been mentioned between Kenny and DC. Also, Lennon's agency was at Anfield when we played Man City, maybe talks with DC over a potential move?

Hi ed I read on bbc that we might make a cheeky 15millom bid for aaron lennon is their any truth in this as I rate him so much more then ashley young and even tho 15mil is alot think in the long run would be a great deal

ramythered {Ed002's Note - It seems doubtful to me.}

To go with one of the previous posts, I too have heard and read Xabi Alonso could return next season.
He didn't want to leave and has been back every opportunity he's had.
Is still big mates with Reina and Gerrard and respects Kenny very much.
I still think it's more doubtful than possible, but a respected poster on one of the main Fans websites has hung his colours to this particular mast and reckons it's Xabi who's made the first move by letting LFC know he'd welcome a return.
What d'you reckon ed's? {Ed001's Note - I think it will depend on whether Jose stays or goes.}
