Eds, my theory is Wisdom loan a sweetener for summer deal for Will Hughes, possible?

El shaarawy was linked with spurs in the summer for a possible jan bid? The rumour should start to re surface and gather pace the closer the jan window approaches

Ed's? Been reading a few articles today saying that there's real interest in tello, Montoya and pirlo. I've read ed2's thoughts on Montoya and I have no doubt pirlo is a non- starter, which brings me to tello, do you think it plausible? Considering he just signed a new contract? Cheers. {Ed002's Note - I think it unlikely. Sanchez staying is what has caused him to raise the issue about game time again. Unless Barcelona change direction and decide to move for a Liverpool player, then I can't see anything happening in January.}

Its difficult to see where he fits back in at Liverpool in the next couple of years.

Why does suarez have to leave any chance we could break the bank ed {Ed002's Note - Liverpool keep spending money they cannot afford to do, certainly under the FFP rules. Suarez as you might have noticed is very keen to leave.}

Hi all,

With the usual Suarez to Madrid rumour lurking, is there any rumbling of Benzema to join as part of the deal?
Suarez= Benzema + cash could be quite a tempting deal.

I do not know much, but would assume that his salary expectation may be something to wince over.

No thanks, they can keep Benzema, sell him to Arsenal or Tottenham, whoever but not us. I'd much prefer Costa as a multi-dimensional striker, or Benteke as a beast upfront, Benteke works well with Gabby Agbonlahor who can open up defences with his pace as Sturridge can.

Heard anything on Derby County's reported interest in taking Andre Wisdom on loan?
And will he go to play centre back (his best position)? {Ed002's Note - It is likely the loan will happen. I don't know where he will be used.}

Would this have to wait until January Eds? I don't really know how these loan windows work in the Championship.

Morning Ed's and fellow Reds. Glad to see the team near the top of the table where we belong!. Just a quick question for the Ed's, do see Javier Pastore a a viable option in january?. thanks {Ed002's Note - Pastore may well be moving next summer - and it is possible that PSG will let him leave in January if a suitable bid is made. I understand that AC Milan and Fenerbahce have asked to be informed if Pastore is available. Right now his form is questionable as it was for most of last season and the player may well wish to move on if he does not get a regular place in the team. His agent has suggested that Napoli have approached him directly. Right now, the interest of Liverpool is speculative only although they did make an enquiry about the player in 2010.}

His form has been highly questionable at PSG and I suspect a substantial bid would be needed purchase him in January (as well as big wages). Not sure he is the most viable or even the most necessary of players out there and personally hope we don't sign him.
