Hi eds, massive fan of this page, but only just registered an account aha. Got a little bit of a rumour gossip, thought I'd share. My cousins stepdads brother (long one I know aha) he's a physio at melwood Paul Squires. He was telling my cousins that a Benjamin Henrichs is being talked about quite abit amongst scouts. I might be wrong but I thought his contract expires next year and so he hasn't (as yet) signed any extension. Plus Arsenal and Tottenham as well as us had shown an interest.

I still think VVD will end up with us. Will have to pay over the odds but then I don't think Southampton ever were going to let him leave any other way anyway. All things reported point to us signing him as the only real option. We want and need a cb. He has said he wants us putting off other club slightly. Southamptonwon't want to keep unwanted unhappy player. Of course he could sign for anyone and come out with the usual. This club was the only one for me, I followed them as a kid crap 😀.

Not necessarily about the strike (which i think is nonsense like you said) but more that he is likely to still come to us at some point in the summer?

I can only assume that any move would be made after the FA decision has come out and after everything has died down a bit.

{Ed001's Note - it really is impossible to say as we would have to convince the FA it was all above board. What would help is getting Saints to retract their complaint.}

VVD will sign just annoying that I've just seen the rubbish that John Aldridge has been saying in some rag. He needs to keep his mouth shut and show some respect. All the huge work we've had to do get this deal back on the table and he has to have his say to keep himself relevant, really selfish.

Alan you've said the Ox deal was done in the past, as well as salah and VVD weeks ago, which never happened. Your mate is obviously mugging you off. that would be the right thing for the player I feel, salah arriving would not make it any easier for him to break through to the 1st team, I wish him well.
