I know somebody who is in with stoke city, and the 100% rumour is we are seriously interested in Robert huth, I asked was he takin the p#ss, he swore blind, it was a genuine link, bloody hope not!

If this is anyway true, there doesn't seem to be a future for Coates, BR just mustn't fancy him. They're in the same mould. If it was a ball playing CB he was after I could understand our interest in a CD, don't think it's our priority though.

I hope we dont do somthing stupied like sell Coates he will be a top defender one day

On a Personal Note, i dont want players who stamp on other fellow players INTENTIONALLY because they are made to look like a schoolboy by the other player.

However, as the above posters said, what does that say for the likes of Coates, hell forget Coates, what about Wilson??. I mean the guy is even behind Coates, with Huth arriving, he might be stuck in U-21's for life!!..

Personally i think one will be heading to London in either January or the Summer, but i'd enjoy them both at Liverpool as soon as.

I think strangely we'll be looking in land for recruitments in January. I don't know why we don't look abroad, you can get more for you money it seems.

If Sturridge costs us any more than £11 million we should go abroad and get someone maybe a bit more special, not only for their name, but ability. Borini is back mid January hopefully, so we'll have a new striker and i think he'll come good, he's hungry and well determined in his objectives.

question for the eds. how much do you think internacional will let leandro damiao go for and where he is likely to end up. i know there is a 60million euro buy out clause in contract. also is there much interest from lfc in sebastien gallegos of atletico and what is his value

At the end of this season Andy Caroll will be sold and Torres will come back if he hasn't performed and Benitez isn't still at chelsea

I could believe that both could occur. But Liverpool don't want to be spending big on Torres because next summer he will be 29

...Even I'm getting sick of this & I was originally open to a Torres return. But the truth is the guy is surrounded by enormously talented players but no longer scores. I've now moved on.

Why would go for Torres? He moved on because he felt he was too good for us and now i believe we are too good for him. Best to spend or resources looking for a new 'Torres' :)

Eds what is your opinion on this? Before rafa went to chelsea could you have seen torres returning in jan? What I've seen of torres at chelsea his body language to me is that he not happy, do you think his hearts still with us?

Terrible attempt at a rumour that mate haha! Almost hear you thinking that one through as you type! No Torres return (apart from in Chav blue) ever, accept it and move forward my friend.

Give up man!! No he isnt! When he leaves Chelsea it will be because he is going back to Spain and we should be glad of that! Look forward not backwards!

Also, Andy will be sold at the end of the season if the transfer can be arranged on the Full-moon (which must also be a harvest moon), it's a leap year but Howard Webb forgets and shows up to a pitch anyways, Jupiter moves in to Aquarius, its the third Friday of the month, the date is an even number and Benitez's wife gives birth to a girl named Julia someday.

just wondering, if west ham stay up, do they have to buy carroll or do they have a choice?
And have the rumours about gary hooper and the couple about shane long died down?
And is there more interest in sturridge than walcott, as i feel walcott is the better player at the minute, quicker and probably a better finisher in my opinion, sturridge is quite selfish at times at misses alot of chances.
Would they cost roughly the same? {Ed002's Note - I don't know how the clause reads but it would also require the agreement of the player. I know of nothing about Shane Long, but there is nothing further on Hooper that I am aware of. An enquiry has been made for Sturridge. I have explained before that I am not aware of a recent enquiry for Walcott nor his availability - I don't think it is a case or more or less. I would not want to guess at what might be an acceptable fee for the players but I still think that Walcott will agree a new contract with Arsenal.}

West ham will stat up they look good don't be surprised if they get top ten

What's the deal with Heung Min Son now since it seems he's another contract rebel. Also with VDV saying Liverpool offered 16 mil for him. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - A number of clubs, including Liverpool, have been looking at Heung Min Son for the past year. Certainly Sunderland, Lille and West Ham have had him watched on more than one occasion as well. I would doubt he will be available for a January move and I very much doubt such a bid has been made.}

Pedro doesn't score many goals now.

Pedro wouldn't be bought to score loads of goals. He would be bought as a winger

Pedro is highly highly overrated, he seems alot better than he really is because he's surrounded by so many great players at Barca, many of his goals etc are put on a plate for him by the greats around him. At a team where he'd have to work harder to create chances and score goals i'm sure he'll fail miserably.

Is Liverpool having interest in Kevin grosskreutz, Blaszczykowski from BVB? They have dazzling performance in the CL. How about Filip Đuričić from SC Heerenveen.

Also what are the possible deals in the January transfer window?

Reds Jacky {Ed002's Note - Grosskreutz has previously said that he wants one day to play in England. Before the last January window noted, to the annoyance of Jurgen Klopp, that his dream was to play for Arsenal. This summer, before the transfer window opened he told the press that it was his dream to play for Liverpool. I am not aware of interest right now but Liverpool do appear to be looking for a wide player. Equally he is a starter for Dortmund so a move in January is perhaps unlikely. Blaszczykowski have been rebuffed with a "not for sale". Heerenveen's Filip Djuricic has attracted the attention of a number of sides with Schalke and Manchester United making little effort to hide their interest. I understand that Milan have spoken with Marco Van Basten about the player but concerns exist that he would not be ready for the more major European leagues at this time. Both Liverpool and Spurs are rumoured to have looked at the player this season, but I have no confirmation of this just yet. Previous work permit issues may not have gone away.}

Eds we were hevly link with Jackson Martinez from jaguars on the Sumer, do you know if we went for him? His scorin for fun at Porto {Ed002's Note - There was no interest in the summer. If there was ever serious Liverpool interest in Jackson Martinez January last should have been the time to make a move - and the club didn't. Now we see Porto considering cashing in on the player but the price they are looking for is 40M euro.}

But dont they have a £18.5m buy out clause

and could the fact that the owners didn't want to spend any money in last january be the reason why we didn't move for him?

Would John Guidetti not be viable option? He is 20 years old and seems to be a good prospect! He looks to be a natural finisher and think he would be a sound investment.. What do you think?
