(a) Spurs and Lazio enquired this past summer - Lazio might still be interested. (b) Previously Napoli and Dinamo Kyiv showed an interest in Alex Sandro but now Inter are looking. I can't help with Danilo. (c) Everton showed an interest in the summer.}

Ed002 have Liverpool sent any scouts to watch rakitic looks a great player, however I can see him being quite pricey. Do you see a deal for Carlos Vela being struck in the January window or summer.Thoughts?
Thanks for all the great responses my favourite destination for transfer talk {Ed002's Note - As I said in the summer, Rakitic would be an unusual choice for Liverpool unless a central midfield player is leaving. The long term interest in him is from Lazio where he was expected to move in the summer. Personally I do not see him moving in January.
A representative of Luis Suarez told one of the clubs that they are trying to get interested in their client over the summer that Liverpool will possibly look to Carlos Vela once Suarez leaves - but that is all there is.}

Question for Ed002 Montoya and Arda Turan in January or not? I can't see costa moving and has there been any interest from Liverpool or any club with regards to Alan Dzagoev (CSKA) thanks eds. {Ed002's Note - Martin Montoya has been subject to rejected offers from Napoli and a loan offer from Monaco who opted for Tavares instead. Arsenal and Inter made enquiries over the summer but Barcelona have made it clear they do not wish to sell him. Whilst contract talks with Barcelona are at a standstill because he is asking for guarantees they cannot provide, the interest of Arsenal remains. His agent has confirmed he is aware of interest from other clubs including Liverpool. The time to sign Arda was in the summer before he agreed a contract extension that increased is cost considerably. Dzagoev has previously interested Chelsea and Arsenal (who at one point last season sent an entire contingent to watch him play in Moscow) but that has probably waned. Anzhi, Roma, Napoli and Spurs have contacted CSKA about the player in the past 6 months. It should be noted that he signed a new contract last summer, been fighting a ban, fallen out with Fabio Capello, become a father and said he would only leave Moscow for Italy and is generally making a bit of a mess of everything right now.}
