Ed, Is it possible Edin Dzeko will join Liverpool In January? we need a box striker and Edin Dzeko is the man. we need a playmaker somebody like Pjanic. And I also heard a rumour about Begovic. I think Reina has lost it. {Ed002's Note - Manchester City rejected a 19M euro bid from Juventus for Dzeko in the summer - his wages are well beyond the means of most clubs - perhaps £160k a week or so.}

That was the best game Reina has played for a long time, and you think he's lost it? Weird.

TSP

Actually, all the 3 goals scored by Stoke are not Reina's fault. If there's someone to put my finger on, it is Agger.

Does pato want to return to Brazil? Reports suggest Milan & Corinthians have agreed a €15million fee for the player

M {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

The answer is yes

Why are people such fantasists why would any good player join Liverpool right now this is one of the worst Liverpool sides I have ever seen and it's only getting worse I have been I a website subscriber for over 10 yrs and cancelled it cos this side is sooooo, rubbish

Errrrrm I dont recall saying why don't we go for him I was asking a question on the reason. So before your negativity on all things liverpool related please read the post properly. Would be appreciated!

M

So, because we're not winning a supposed fan cancels their subscription? Sounds like a real supporter that...Prawn Sandwich?

Prawn sandwich is a lot better then this mediocrity I have to witness nearly twice a week

Let him go, he is always injured

Only Sturridge and Ince will be arriving in January. If Walcott is available we will go for him but unlikely to be available. Some players may be departing..

LFCDave

Suprised any one wants to join this shot side

Jesus if any more leave we will have no squad

Sounds realistic

Hi eds, any truth in the rumour that Coates could join West Brom on loan til the end of the season? {Ed002's Note - No, I would not think so.}

Watching the united game online and the commentator starting talking about Ba leaving and saying he could go liverpool and "imagine him and suarez upfront" and talking as if its probably more tha possible, does he know something we dont?

Could demba ba be coming liverpool?

I thought his knees made it an unlikely move?

Wouldnt mind ba he'd add anothet 15 goald to the goal tally for us

Cheers

Shak Attack {Ed002's Note - I understand that Newcastle are still likely to get offers for Demba Ba from QPR and Galatasaray and that there may be interest from Anzhi Makhachkala and lingering interest from Lokomotiv Moscow. It is possible he will move but he would look for a Champions League side. He and his agent are trying to court Arsenal although they seemingly have other preferred targets at this time. His agent has also mentioned Germany as a possible destination. And he could be expensive to buy for a non-CL side, has additional agent fees hanging over his transfer anywhere, high wage expectations and high insurance costs.}

U do realise we don't play 2 strikers so it wouldn't be him and Suarez as a partnership. Suarez would have to be moved to one of the wide forwards, anyway, never gonna happen

sturridge, Ince and 1 loan are coming in. What are people thoughts on Rondon? {Ed002's Note - Rondon only moved clubs a few months ago and will not be moving to Liverpool in January.}

The loan signing looks to be Jeffren Suarez with an option to but come the Summer.

I would put good money on us not signing Tom Ince.

Hello, my first post and great site! I'm on this site too much. My questions are

1: what's going on with assaidi? Is he injured or did Brendan not buy him?

2: lfc ever look at bojan?

3: is carra retiring at the end of this season?

4: lfc should go for sessnegon and Danny rose, what do you think?

Thanks and hope this gets shown.
LIVERPAUL {Ed002's Note - (1) He has a knee injury; (2) He may have been considered, but I doubt seriously; (3) Too early to say; (4) I will leave that to other to comment.}

Robinson is a better LB prospect. Rose not needed.

Red Rout

If like you said your on this site too much you would know by the hundreds of posts already answered about assaidi, that he is injured!!

26 Dec 2012 13:33:11
No thanks to Rose or Sessegnon. Liverpool need to buy class acts not average players.

Sorry for miss reading but social life and work do come into play!

And class players you mean in Henderson,shelvey,downing,Carroll? Sess would put more balls and attack more then them plus Gerard together. Rose would be a future lb for England and would push Enrique to play better football.

You obviously don't go on this site to much because the eds have covered assaidis injury a countless number of times!

Injured
No
Yes
No

Ed002 i have heard that we are scouting Henrik Mkhitaryan ahead of a possible summer move? also that we may attempt to sign an attacking midfielder on loan in jan too get us through to the summer when we will sign one such as henrik? have u heard anything about either {Ed002's Note - Shakhtar's Mkhitaryan is of interest to Lazio and Juventus but is unlikely to move in January. I cannot think of any "attacking midfield" player Liverpool has been looking at right now.}

That guys name is on every comment on the lfc site sometimmes 2 and 3 times mkhitaryan is one of the most mentioned names on there for players people want in lol

Eds,
is it true Liverpool rep. had made contact with David Villa?
Are we looking to bring him on loan 1st or permanent?

Another one, recent new said that Martin Kelly reject new Liverpool contract offers. Any idea why?

thanx much. Denmark lfc fans. {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any Liverpool approach to David Villa and Kelly is simply negotiating a new contract.}

From what iv heard and read about Villa Liverpool have made an inquiry but were put off by the reported 4m loan fee. There is a slim possibility that we still might go for him because the owners want another so called Marquee loan signing and BR wants to add a bit of experience to the team especially to the forward line

Forward: Daniel Sturridge - £12m [practically a done deal].

Forward: Jeffren Suarez - loan with option to buy £6m [out of favor at sporting and we will first see if he is worth the expenses, hence it being a loan deal].

Striker: Alexandre Pato - £3.4m loan to buy in the summer for £21m [BR wants him in early as our summer replacement for Carroll. Firstly) getting him on loan with a buy clause will make sure we will get him. Secondly) it would keep our spending down in Janaury as we will only play the loan. Thirdly) he is not cup tied and can help us in the Europa League, FA Cup as well as our push for fourth place. The fact that he is injury prone means nothing as we will manage him for the remainder of this season so that he will be ready next season. Also there is a possibility that Suarez along with Coates will make moves to Juventus in the summer and if that happens we want to have someone in place before that becomes a reality. Reason being we might look like a less attractive option for replacements of his stature].

Left Back: Didac Vila - £3.5m [He isn't needed therefore Milan want him off their books, we had interest in taking him on loan in the summer with option to buy when then Valencia beat us to him until he got injured and the deal fell through, with Downing leaving & Robinson going out on loan we need a LB to push Enrique].

Attacking midfield: Wesley Sneijder - £9.8m (12m euros), [there is only one position in midfield that we really need to add to in terms of the starting 11 and that is AM and BR knows it. A goal threat/locksmith in midfield is badly needed as most of our creativity is coming from Suarez with the ball at his feet which makes for great television but also means he hardly has the chance to get simple tap ins which is something all strikers need].

Center Back: Nicolas Isimat-Mirin - £3m then loaning him back to Valenciennes for the remainder of the season.

£32m

Downing will be sold in january with Sunderland providing him a path out. with sturridge coming in Downing is sure that he will not be a first team player despite what BR is saying. £8m

Cole with leave on a free to QPR. We will pay him off for the signing on fee we still own him (which was spread out in his contract), but we will still save around £3.5m in wages.

Pacheco loan with option to buy [heading back to spain]

£11.5m

net spending £20.5m

Playing FIFA a little too much recently? Sneijder wouldnt come to a non-CL club, and is on huge wages (would be highest paid at LFC by far). Pato is looking at moving back to Brazil. As much as I would like those two its just not happening.

YNWA

This is a rumour page; these are not rumours.

It's a mixture of what we already believe to be true - Sturridge, Ince - and names plucked out of the air. The credibility of your post is destroyed by your claim that both Suarez and Pato will come on loan; as has been stated on countless occasions, clubs can have no more than two players on loan at any time - with Sahin already at Anfield, your 'rumour' sucks.

If this is a wish list, fair enough, but please don't pretend you know anything other than what we all already know.

Monty

Go easy on the booze, mate! I mean, it's a time to party and all that... Singred

Pato is a great player but he is always injured.
sneijder would be the best attacking midfielder we could get knows the system BR wants to play from his ajax days,but sneijder is on 200k a week at inter,we will never pay his wages.

26 Dec 2012 14:51:32
Well said Monty!!

Funniest thing i've read on here in ages!

Yea lets buy a very talented injury phone player from a league with Italians carrying purses... and let him try to play in the Worlds most physical league... Pato the potato would be a slaughtered vegetable in EPL.

You have got to be kidding. we are not going to get any players like that. who would want to play for a Liverpool team in the middle of the table with no chance of winning anything as we have not got the abillity or the consistancy. i can see suarez leaving at the end of this season and us buying a player for extrodonary amounts of money that can not score... we did it with Torres.

Nice budget dude!

Heard from someone reliable that Ince has agreed terms with us and will earn 30k per week. All that needs to be agreed is the final transfer fee with Blackpool trying to get £6m plus.

LFC82

He may well sign for 30k a week - whether he earns it or not remains to be seen

Claims that Liverpool have already upped their offer to £5m and have told Blagpool that this is the final offer. Blackpool have initially said no, but no other teams are actively pursuing Ince at the moment and Liverpool believe they will agree.
This could drag on through January

YOZLFC

I think you will find there are plenty of teams after Ince. Blackpool are looking to create an auction for him and if they succeed in this he will not go to Liverpool because BR will back away.

So they spoke to the player before a fee being accepted? Thats called tapping up

Hi eds what's happening with hoarau, have any offers been made or are any likely to be made?
Cheers, Redgrant {Ed001's Note - I don't think the lad is keen, he has other options, ones which will present him with a lot more first team opportunities.}

Any other options Eds ?
really do not fancy Jeffren. {Ed052's Note - so far we seemed to have asked about both Hourau and Jeffren on loan. Im sure other targets may emerge shlould these not go through}
