Ed002, i know he is currently injured but could luis muriel be an option? we have apparently scouted him and he would be perfect for the front 3. Udinese would be relunctant to sell but they sold other top players in the summer {Ed002's Note - There was plenty of interest in Luis Muriel over the summer but none I am aware of from Liverpool. Added to that he has signed a new long term contract at Udinese.}

Get cassiddsey from tranmere

First time poster Eds and have heard from friend that our beloved Liverpool and Brendan will make a sneaky loan bid for Marko Marin of Chelsea!
Yes he only signed in the summer but this is expected..watch out for this!
Quality young german..pace and direct what Liverpool need.

DeutschKid

Won't happen mate. I'd rather have Alan move for Scott Parker

I suppose a sneaky bid at least makes a change from the more usual cheeky bid

Didn't think you could purchase a player in 1 season and loan him straight out to a club in your competitive league,hence lukaku nnot going to stoke last year on loann

BR will have £20m to spend

His main objective is to expand the squad therefore beside the ones he has told can look for a new club (J.Cole and J.Henderson) no one will leave.

we want £1.5m for Cole (Spartak Moscow, QPR, Villa are interested) and £8-10m for Henderson again (Villa, Fulham & Southampton interested).

which will give BR a total of £30m to spend on who he wants

ST - Wilfried Bony, 23 - £8m
DM - Victor Wanyama, 21 - £12m
FWD - Alexandre Lacazette, 21 - £7.5m
CB - Jang Hyun Soo, 21 - £1m
£28.5m

Rubbish. Yes Cole will probably leave. Henderson will stay he is young and is improving. The transfer targets you've picked are awful

Transfer budgets don't work that way, I'm sure ed 002 would explain it much better than me
Brendan

I would love to have Wanyama, but I doubt it's going to happen.
Lacazette would presumably be more expensive than £7.5m, Wilfried might have trouble adjusting to the english league after not exactly dominating the dutch league and I don't know the other....

but yes, unlikely. Although i could see the departures happening.

Y would we buy another midfield in jan what we need is a good striker a winger and a sub cb if we can get it but a striker and winger should be our main target'

vivek12011

Again quantity over quality

I take it by BR you mean YOU

Cudge

Why would we spend money on another cb? coates and wilson and carra plus the main two make it look pretty healthy same with midfield its up top we need major reinforcements two decent 10 - 15 goal players. Hooper has been mentioned hed fit in nicely

Wicklow Red

Is this the Liverpool rumours sight or the FIFA manager 13 message boards?

Not bad but I think wanyama is more likely to be going to man u. If he wants to win things with a prem team then it will be his best option:D

Are these all players that have overalls of 93 after one season on fifa 13 or something?

Liverpool are tracking Real Mallorca hot-shot Tomer Hemed.

I don't know this guy but it is the third/fourth time I've heard the link, player profile/update any LFC fans?

He's an Israeli Forward and he is a goal machine. 10 goals so far this season and he doesn't seem to wanna stop. With that said, the asking price raises questions (5m).

Liverpool are interested in Schalke 04 and Dutch Centre Forward Klaas Jan Huntelaar

Rubbish. He isn't going to leave champions league football

I just can't see this player being an EPL hit, us LFC fans want him to be the RVN we missed out on (regardless of the fact that the posistion doesn't fit our, or the modern EPL style) I hope we don't go for a Huntlaar/Lorriante No"9 player, I'd rather take another technically sound forward, equal assists and penalty area entries rather would be my preference now, and yes, I would have said differently 6-9 months back but this BR game doesn't need bruising forwards, just composed players

After the spurs thing at the end of the game I can't see it happening

I really do wish this was true

It comes to something when we start talking about 'penalty area entries' as a mark of a good striker. Used to be goals. I miss those days.

Just scrolling through the comments and seeing most of the suggested targets being written off as LFC signings. EDS can you confirm the players LFC are intersted in? {Ed002's Note - As I have said, Hooper is a player that Liverpool are interested in. If he becomes available I have also suggested that there would likely be interest in Huntelaar. Again, Walcott may be of interest if he becomes available. If Liverpool wish to make a bid for Sturridge, Chelsea would not stand in his way of leaving should teh bid be acceptable.}

Ed do you rate Hooper? I really haven't seen much of him. {Ed001's Note - not as good enough for us, he is far too lazy and lacking in any kind of ability to play a passing game.}

I'm probably tipping someone unexpected. Borini wasn't very expected and assaidi was a rabbit out of the hat

Ed i hope we would be but do you think we would want huntelaar considering his age, after what happened with dempsey? {Ed002's Note - I would not be at all surprised by interest.}

Think Huntelaar would suit us down to the ground, showed against Arsenal that he just needs a chance and its a goal also very experienced in the major leagues, Hooper could change his ways if he signed for us and not be so lazy but I just don't see him being good enough for us and we can't afford just to buy a striker for the sake of it

What it with you lot and Sturridge we can do so much better then him he is a poor mans welbex he is rubbish and would not add nothing to liverpool fc

Just out of interest ed 002 what would be considered a suitable bid for sturridge?

Nevada {Ed002's Note - I would suspect that around £12M or so would be acceptable.}

Ball bounces off Hooper-looks slow and cumbersome. Commons even looks better than him

Liverpool have sent scouts to Scotland to look at Celtic striker Gary Hooper

Not fit enough for EPL, did no one see him play at Barcelona?

No no no and i said no way good anuf 4 the passing game br wants 2 play should of kept 35 million long shanks fazak lfc

Eds, any chance of signing leandro damaio?hes a class striker and brazilian national....plus hes at a small club so there must be a chance?
We need a top striker {Ed002's Note - Leandro Damiao remains of interest to several clubs including Spurs, Arsenal, PSG, Roma, Sporting Lisbon, Inter Milan and Juventus. Lyon and Barcelona seem to have dropped any interest they had in the player. January 2013 may be a likely time to move. The summer saw rejected bids from Spurs and PSG. Inter, Roma or Juventus may force a move - and these remain the most likely destinations right now. His club value him at an unrealistic 60M euro and don't want to sell.}

Heard today that Rodgers really likes Hooper as a player and feels think he is a terrific finisher but he won't pay anywhere near Celtics valuation.

Well - why don't we leave it until the last minute of the January transfer window, then put in an offer that we know Celtic won't accept, but makes good financial sense...........Then when someone else buys him for a little bit more, we can.........................whoops - we already done that with Dempsey. Bad Idea.

The hope is that Celtic drop their valuation of Hooper. They value him at £15m and Liverpool will only pay half that, I don't see this deal happening.

Hi eds i was wondering if there is a possibility of jack butland coming. {Ed002's Note - I would doubt he would move to sit on the bench. If he could be number one, and if Liverpool are interested and make a suitable offer and if his club want to sell, then maybe.}

Reina is 30 and unless he decide to move back to Spain then i very much doubt any keeper will want to move to Liverpool as they will be coming to play 2nd fiddle & almost will never get a game unless Reina is injured or Suspended, However lets say Liverpool & Reina decide the time is right to part ways then i agree Butland would be a wise choice as he is young, English and certainly fits the FSG plan and would be our No.1 for the foreseeable future.

BigD

I'd have Butland as number one

This is why we Liverpool never learn. Man Ltd shuffle both keepers De Gea and Lindegaard so each keeper is on his feet and raring to do his best. With all due respect, Brad Jones is not going to keep Reina out long EVEN if Reina decided to keep himself on the bench. I feel the owners must supply funds for Butland and then we must sell Reina for a "good" price and by that i mean a realistic price. With that money and money from the club we must also target Ter Stegen. So with Ter Stegen and Butland, we have two really good keepers...

Is a double bid for celtics
gary hooper
vitor wanyama

out the question ed probably be in the region of 15 million for both would be quality additions and both are relatively young {Ed002's Note - There is interest from Liverpool in Hooper.}

Wanyama is a good player but we already have more than enough central midfielders.
the wise one

Hopper yes Wanyama no

Liverpool are looking to sign Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette in winter. He is seen as being a Suarez style striker and a like for like backup.

CK

Hope so, but doubt it. The are actually kinda similar.

This lad is definately good, hope we chase the option, but I would not overlook Hunterlaar - DanieRed

Ed002. Do you know which clubs are actually interested in signing Theo Walcott? Many thanks. {Ed002's Note - I don't know if Walcott will even be available nor what options he would have if he were. Deciding to leave Arsenal may not enhance his career, particularly if he wants to stay in England. Rumours persist of potential interest from Liverpool.}

Well if we are interest you can put money on it Spuds will bid!

He'll end up at Chelsea am telling you

He'll end up at Chelsea am telling you..

The moment he steps into the Chelsea training ground, Walcott's club career is finished. Just ask Victor Moses, i don't get how Victor Moses expects to beat Eden Hazard, Mata and Marko Marin to a spot in the team. Clearly if Walcott has a brain then he Will choose between his "boyhood" club and Hotspurs...
