Jose Mourinho is lining up a bid for Luis Suarez in January. Before people start replying that Ivanovic has a problem with Luis need to remember that BI has already declared that he holds no grudges against LS.

For Jose Mourinho read Arsene Wenger. If the club has a policy they stuck by in July what would change it 6 months later half way through the season when we are continuing to show such positive signs of improvement?

Firstly, I don't believe he'll be allowed to leave in January, not unless a monster offer is made. Secondly, can't we just enjoy the day!? Seriously, we won 4-1 and put a great day on for the fans and within only a few hours, you've heard through the grapevine that ''Mourinho wants Suarez'', well, most managers want Suarez, he's easily one of the best strikers in the game and his performances show that.
If Mr Mourinho is following the trend and wants the lad, then get ready to pay out, get ready to pay out through the nose, once more. Chelsea will be funding the next Liverpool squad build, just like they have previously. We got Suarez because Chelsea couldn't do their homework on strikers and bought Torres, for £50 million! Lukaku is the player Chelsea need, but they're too blind to see it, he'll want out next. Especially if Suarez is bought in, in spite of Lukaku's goal scoring abilities.

Never! They would have to offer Mata plus £30m

A question for the Eds!
With Sturridge and Suarez forming a deadly partnership and at the right end of the table do you
1 - Think Suarez will look to leave in Jan if Madrid come in for him or will he want to stay and get CL football with LFC
2 - If Suarez tries to leave do you think the club willl stand strong like the summer and refuse to allow him leave(until the summer anyway)
3 - We have big games coming up between now and Xmas and do you think the results in these games will make up his mind. Arsenal away next week Everton away Spurs away and City away all before Xmas day. If we can do well in these games we would be in there with a shout and hopefully that would keep the SAS together so all us reds can enjoy watching them destroy teams week in week out for years to come
Any thoughts?? {Ed001's Note - Suarez just wants his big pay day he will get with a move, Champions League is just code for greed. The club will only sell for the right money and when they can bring in a player of quality to replace him. So I don't see anything happening in January.}

Hi ed, in your opinion, who would be the player of Suarez's quality who is capable of replacing him, realistically?
Thanks mate! {Ed001's Note - I have no idea, we didn't manage to get one in the summer, so I would have to say the club is struggling to find one too!}

Going by what Ed001 says, LFC can force Suarez's hand here if we do get champions league football next season, If we do then he can't use that as an excuse for leaving as he would have it at LFC, he would have to admit he wants to leave if we do finish top 4, then the club will most likely open contract talks with the player, if he does not sign then the club can say he refused a contract he has champions league football and still wants out, leaving the club free to move him on without any hassle from fans,

Ed002 can you see pjanic or Lavezzi making a January switch to Liverpool? {Ed002's Note - No. Liverpool has shown no interest in either player.}
