Ed I am not on twitter but would like to bid. I am in australia though. 200pounds. This is a genuine bid. Red in shePp.

Hey, whats the highest bid on now? 210 pounds.

I paid £350 for my signed and framed Gerrard shirt at a charity sports dinner, so this is good value and for a good cause

How can you disagree with this?

Red Head

I put that yesterday red head, but in a slightly less eloquent manner. To disagree with this is ridiculous.

It seems as if Jose Enrique has fallen out of favour with Rodgers. I know he's had his problems with injuries recently but he's been fot and hasn't featured. Just wondering if there's any interest in another left back, perhaps Neil Taylor?

Long term injury at the minute, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Rodgers make a move in the summer.

Doesn't Neil Taylor have a broken ankle ?

Enrique will play on Saturday

I believe Enrique played against Young Boys and was left out against WBA to play against Norwich

Don't need one mate ...got Glen at the minute and seems pretty likely young Jack Robinson is very close to being ready for it as well . Rather save the money and add it to the fund for a decent striker .

In his last appearance he was, a) off-form b) not "bought in" to the way the team was set-up to play. He was repeatedly putting his foot through the ball or playing aerial balls down the line - both no-no's in the new set-up.

If he's not going to follow the instructions he needs to leave - I wouldn't be surprised if we never see him in the shirt again.

Quite happy for him Enrique to be the back up left back and give Jack Robinson the position.

Neil Taylor is out for the season thats the problem.

Rather have Robinson

Will there be any news on Dave Fallows and Barry Hunter soon?

What kind of news are you hoping for?

Maradoo

They've already started work for us , Brendan already said so

Dodge

Brendan said in a interview last week or so that they had started work but that they had to wait till after the window as they were on gardening leave

Question for eds. Given the way the youngsters have played so far this season, what do you think the chances are that we don't sign a senior striker eg. Llorente or Walcott or any of the big names tossed around in January, but continue to purchase younger less well known talent such as Yesil & Assaidi?

YNWA
Lee {Ed002's Note - It really is too early to tell with any confidence.}

Lets be honest here we all know the owners will be over the moon if they don't have to spend a penny. Not that they have invested much anyway.

Can see cole and downing leave to reduce the wage bill though.

Let's be honest. ALL owners will be happy if they don't have to spend a penny and rake in profit. If you can find a businessman who is unhappy that they get a profit without spending money, tell me. I think he/she doesn't mind giving me a share of their profits.

Not invested a lot? Did someone sleep through the Dalglish spending spree last winter? I recall over 112 million pounds being invested...

eds, regarding transfers, if we are interested in signing a player, could we negotiate with his club before january? {Ed002's Note - Sure - January is only relevant to the transfer of the paperwork.}

is there any serious interest in Victor Wanyama and what are the chances of him actually leaving Celtic? The lad looks good for 21, wouldn't mind him and Lucas dogging it out for DM {Ed002's Note - There is serious interest from Arsenal.}

I think we're sorted for central midfielders tbh.

- Something Red -

Ed002 personally I don't think hendo will get much playing time in the league. Sahin, shelvey, Allen, Lucas, gerrard and now suso should all be in front of him. Have we any chance of Sahin permanently? {Ed002's Note - Sahin rejected a couple of options for a permanent move (e.g. Besiktas) although it seemed that he would have accepted a move to AC Milan or Bayern Munich on a permanent basis. Miguel Pardeza was keen to sell him but an enquiry from AC Milan was met with a figure they considered both unrealistic and unacceptable. There is no provision in the contract for an option to buy at the end of the season. However, if there is no place for him at Real Madrid next season, if he does enough for Liverpool to want to buy him, if he is impressed enough to want to make a move to Liverpool, and if a financial deal can be agreed with Real Madid and the player, then it would be possible.}

There will be space for him in Madrid when Xabi comes home! (Fingers crossed!)

No Henderson is continuing to mature as a player. Henderson and Sahin to battle for a place on Saturday

I'd rather Sahin.

Sahin has shown good values since arriving, his respect for our history and his talking up of younger players has been great. He'll love it here, and will want to stay after the season I'm sure. Think Xabi's love for LFC, I see similarities in his personality.

His mannerisms show he has a good character, and we're paying a lot for him in wages right now so we could get him for a reduced fee under £10m, I'm sure this could happen. RC

I think it depends on his season with us , if he settles well and gets playing to his potential then i dont think he will want to go to the subs bench at real madrid

Also depends on:

-Where we finish in the Prem (if we finish 4th, he's bound to stay. 5th and it's up in the air. Any lower and he wont be staying).

-If we win FA Cup/Europa

-If Mourinho wants him sold (most Real fans say that is the case)

- His price

-His family

etc, etc. Though just an observers thought: he seems a LOT more comfortable here than at Madrid.

Alex Ferguson is going to try and take the pss, he wants Henderson to replace Carrick and will offer £5m for him in January (officially).
Brendan wants to sell so he will leave.
Personally I don't care where, but hopefully not for that price. Billy Mc.

Selling Henderson would be a stupid move. not that i think Brendan wants to sell him though.

Kaizer

What? take the pss out of himself?

We would never sell a player to Utd.

Gaz1975.

He can have him......only if he'll send Chicharito the other way. LOL

£15M + Nick Powell or £5M + Kagawa.

It's about as likely as Santa actually getting stuck up the chimney.

Wouldnt sell that man a virus fact

Straight swap for hernandez id be over the moon
