What would you say are the chances of us signing a few of these players
Caulker
Lallana
Balazs Dzsudzsak
Lars Bender
Alex Song
Shaqiri
Tello
Any would help improve the team in my opinion
With Wisdom, Suso and Borini all doing well at loan clubs they would help improve the squad and hopefully more opportunities for Teixeira the future looks good
Keep up the good work

The only one would be caulker and he is shocking…. Not a top 6 player!

Agree0 Disagree2

I would go against a move for Tello for next season.

Metro (usually one of the most unreliable sources) claiming that we have interest in Mateo Kovacic. I know we have been linked in the past and that was purely speculation, however he does seem to fit the transfer policy and seems like he would be a good addition to midfield. Claims that he has fallen out with the coach are the reason given for a potential move. Any truth that Liverpool are after him or any other PL clubs for that matter? Thanks

ive got it on good authority from senior figure in the club that quote 'johnsons not going anywhere'
good news

Believable65 Unbelievable11

Is it?

Agree1 Disagree0

I would be quite happy to keep him for another 2 years on a reduced contract. It would give young Ryan Mcglouchlin time to gain more experience, maybe a loan deal for a year.

Agree1 Disagree0

Good news?!

How do you figure that out?!

Many aspects to his game I like and I think people are unfair when criticising the defensive side to his game but for a player at that level he gives the ball away far too much.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good news? who for?
He is not a good enough defender for a team with ambitions to be title contenders

Morning Ed's, I read earlier in one of your replies that the "ins" would depend on the "outs"
I read somewhere that we would be looking to of load Martin Kelly, i'm not so sure that's on the cards but my question to you is Who do you see moving on this summer.
thanks
Lee

{Ed002's Note - I would expect Toure, Sakho, Kelly and Flanagan to stay. Coates will certainly leave. Cissokho will go after his loan. Coady may well leave. I don't know about Robinson, Wisdom, Ilori, McLaughlin or Sama. One or perhaps two of Enrique, Johnson, Agger and Skrtel may well leave.

Flanagan, Kelly, Wisdom & McLaughlin will stay with McLaughlin going out on loan, I expect Johnson, Enrique & Robinson to be sold with Cissokho returning to Valencia.

Sakho, Toure, Ilori & 1 of either Skrtel or Agger will stay with Ilori going out on loan and Coates sold.

Ed02,
If this situation happens in the summer, what positions do you expect Liverpool to buy replacements for in the summer?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - A wide forward and one or two midfield players.}

Ed02,
So we could lose one or perhaps two of Johnson, Skrtel, Agger or Enrique and not be looking for a replacement?
I know you guys keep saying with the amount of defenders at this club we can afford to lose some players, without the need to replace.
I agree that Right back (Johnson) and right centre back (Skrtel) have enough competition in depth for us to cope but left back (Enrique) and left centre back (Agger) we would be relying on Mamadou Sakho, Lloyd Jones, Jack Robinson and Brad Smith playing in their natural positions, with the rest of the squad playing out of their best position.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - I would expect a left back to arrive as we know the club has already enquired after one.}

But eds if we win the league surely it would make sense to keep the title winning team and add squad depth to it. In this scenario could you see us keeping all of Agger, Skrtle and Johnson?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - You cannot keep adding players without making space for them.}

Who is the left back we have enquired after? I have searched the posts and I cannot find a answer.
The left back we are currently after is the replacement to the departing Aly Cissokho, correct?

If we sell one or two of Johnson, Skrtel, Agger and Enrique can we expect replacements for them?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - LFC enquired after Ryan Bertrand.}

Eds i'm sorry to drag this subject up but Marca are reporting that Suarez will defo leave in the summer? Are they just making this up as usual?

Believable5 Unbelievable46

{Ed002's Note - It is not worth me explaining.}

Suarez not going anywhere, unless a team make a stupid offer and LFC want to sell.
Suarez now wants to settle and play Champs League with LFC. He could move the following season 2015/16 for family reasons especially childrens language wanting to be Spanish.

I can't see Suarez moving this summer, but if Madrid want him, he will cost them a lot. Also, Ed02 has said Suarez is only 3rd in their list of strikers after Aguero and Cavani.

Like most times, it's just Marca making up nonsense I think.

Agree0 Disagree0

It wouldn't surprise me if Suarez did leave in the summer, I think after the season he's given us his debt would be paid if he left us in the champions league for next season so he wouldn't owe us anything anymore and we can't guilt him with standing by him during his controversies. However, if you read the Marca article, there are no quotes or any evidence to back up what they're saying, they're pretty much just declaring it without a source.

i eds are these ashley cole rumours true about lfc wanting him

Believable3 Unbelievable21

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool has shown no interest in Cole at this time as far as the player's agent is concerned. Even though the club cannot talk to the player he is aware of a number of options. The MLS is one. A very significant offer from Turkey is another. There is interest from one EPL side but it is not Liverpool and I understand they stepped back when the costs were mentioned.}

Who was epl side intersted?

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant as they would not pay the costs.}

Wouldn't want him personally, his ego wouldn't fit with Liverpool I feel.

Hello eds,

Are we in the market for a creative midfielder this summer and if so would we possibly look at Gundogan? Or do you think the asking price is too high?

cheers!

Believable1 Unbelievable8

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool are looking for a midfield player but Gundogan is not a player that is seen as a target.}
