eds do you know much about marco parolo? I think he will be a good addition to our squad if we go for him. not saying we are interested but just a suggestion, esp after his rocket against ac milan, what you think? {Ed002's Note - He won't be moving to Liverpool.}

Ed002. Hearing a lot of talk that Liverpool are in poll to land El Shaarawy? Do Liverpool really stand a chance of landing him when bigger teams like city and arsenal are involved? Also are Liverpool keeping tabs on Koke? {Ed002's Note - Arsenal, Real Madrid and PSG would all like to strike a deal with Milan at some point but the player is happy where he is and Milan have no intention of selling unless a very significant offer is made. Much has been made of his mot playing much at the start of this season but he has been suffering from injury. Previous interest from Spurs remains unconfirmed and Napoli dropped out of the running when they signed Callejon, as did Manchester City when they signed Jovetic. Do not be surprised to see an offer from Dortmund. I am not aware of any confirmed interest from Liverpool at this time, although perhaps if someone leaves they could look to him. I can say that an approach about the player has been made to representatives of an EPL side and a team from Ligue 1 regarding the player in recent days. This has happened at the Under-17 World Cup in the Middle East. I know only a few details.
Liverpool has shown no interest in Koke whilst at least one other club has held talks about the player.}

From what I'm reading it seems Will Hughes is a priority target for us. I've only seen him on Youtube and with all the provisos he seems an incredible talent and a potential straight replacement for Gerrard as Captain Marvel enters his twilight years. Hughes is still only 18 but has the head of someone much older (no pun intended as he's an albino). It would be a real statement of intent from the club if we beat the likes of City and Arsenal to his signing.
It would be a bigger statement of intent to Suarez that we are willing to spend £15m on 4th/5th choice player rather than strengthening the starting 11.

Hey Ed's, have we shown any interest in Shaqiri? I believe he would be a quality signing. An attack of Luis, DS, Coutinho and Shaq would be devastating. {Ed002's Note - He is not one of the players they are looking to sell. There was some talk of a loan to Hamburg. Liverpool has not approached Bayern about the player.}
