Despite the worst start to a season for decades it's possible that by next weekend we could be well on the way to qualifying for knockout stage of CL and sitting in 4th place.
Don't risk Coutinho on Wed night if he's not 100%
We should have enough to beat Maribor without him
2 massive games which could really define how our season develops,

The worst start to a season in decades? Did you just make that up? We’ve had 4 worse league starts this decade!

It's still early isn't it if we can put a run together anything possible in terms of finishing top 4 winning league would take a miracle, thing that worries me is we already seeing the strength in depth lacking in squad an with European football we getting stretched an are weak points being exposed hope we strengthen in January an we in a position too at least get in top 4.

Think the point he is trying to make is with all the Klopp out” noise from last week, we are essentially one win away from 4th and in good shape for the CL.
Oh how things change in a week!

I've read we are linked with a Brazilian left back that we were monitoring last year from Santos. Zeca I think his name was, we dropped interest apparently due to work permit issues but he now has an Italian passport.

He's trying to get his contract canaclled due to non payment so could be free. Is there any truth in this?

is this the same player who had a serious knee injury, a left back, and still not back playing, no way Jose .

Eds, how close is ings from making his way back into the first team? Do you think he has a role in our future? I hope so. I think he's definitely better than AOC.

{Ed002's Note - I suspect a loan in January is his best bet to be honest Ohio. May make the bench before then but Klopp prefers Firmino and Sturridge with Solanke also ahead of him - and Origi is to come back next year by what I hear wanting to fight for a start.}

Give it a rest for one day Lfcohio. We are currently winning 3.0 and you are on giving Aoc a hard time when he's looked alright last few appearances and doesn't even play in same position as Ings! As for ings I agree with ed002 a loan makes sense and wish him all the best as showed great determination.

I like AOC. He may not be a game-changer, but he is solid and does the basics well. This is something that can't be said about the majority of the rest of the team recently. He rarely gives the ball away. He is willing to go past his man, and usually does, he looks up before he puts a cross in, aims for a red shirt, and usually puts it in this direction and out of reach of their keeper. That's good enough for me.

Great result today. And we scored from a corner!
